The Skillbook Program
The Uni provides skillbooks for free up to the value of 1 million isk for all members. Since the intent is that you learn the skills, we will only reimburse one (expensive) to three (cheap) books at a time, a number you can usefully train in a short period. I highly recommend asking for the ISK before buying the books, so any problems get resolved before you're out of pocket.
We do not provide full or partial compensation for skillbooks whose cost is greater than 1 million isk. This means that if you buy a skillbook worth 1,000,001 isk, you cannot get any reimbursement on it.
A limited selection of donated skillbooks are provided for free in the skillbook containers in the Hangars. If you do not have access, simply ask a Uni member to grab one for you. If the skillbook you are looking for is not available then any E-UNI pilot with the 'Student' title may transfer the money to you from the corporate Skillbook Wallet. Simply ask (politely!) in Corp Chat if someone with the student title is free to help you, then let them know what book you want and how much it costs. If you don't get an answer, ask again at about 5-minute intervals.
Using the skillbook Wallet
If a new player needs a skillbook, and one is not available in the hangars, we have created a skillbook wallet division to help. First, buy the skillbook and give it to the new player. Then, get reimbursed from the wallet. Or simply transfer the money from the corporate account directly to the player who needs the skillbook. You can do this by rightclicking on the player, and select "Transfer corp cash" - make sure you include the name of the skill and transfer exactly the amount it costs. You'll need to have a corporate wallet division set up to do this. See below on how to set up a corporate wallet division.
Setting up the wallet
First, access the wallet
Click the Corp Wallet Button
Click the "Change Division" button in the upper right and change to "Eve University Skillbooks"
When the division says "Eve University Skillbooks" at the top of the corporate wallet, you can "Take Money" and grab whatever you need to reimburse yourself. Please leave a reason stating what skillbook and who it was for.
