Many of the skillbooks in the game are sold and seeded by the various NPC corporations.

However, some skillbooks are only available through the loyalty point stores of these corporations.

There is no set price for these books and as such they are not reimbursed by the University.

The books which are seeded by NPC Corporations are able to be reimbursed at the NPC seeded price.

The way to distinguish between skillbooks seeded by NPC corporations and skillbooks being sold by players is to look at the expiration date of the sell order. Only NPC seeded items will have a sell order with an expiration date of 364 days. Player created sell orders will have a maximum expiration date of 89 days. These NPC sell orders renew during the daily scheduled downtime so they always have a 364 day expiration.

There is another category of skillbooks which are both NPC seeded and also available at loyalty point stores.

A subset of skillbooks in this category are reimbursable as they are both NPC seeded and seeded at a price of 1 miilion isk or less.

These skillbooks are not seeded in all regions. They are available according the racial specialization of a region's faction.
