The Character Bazaar is a CCP sanctioned forum-based marketplace where EVE Online players can buy and sell their characters for ISK.

Purpose and benefits of the Character Bazaar

The Character Bazaar is an official, CCP-sanctioned marketplace where players can legally buy and sell characters using in-game currency (ISK, selling characters for items/ships is strictly forbidden). It provides a secure method for transferring characters between accounts while ensuring compliance with CCP’s account use and character policies. While character sale scams can still happen, these are considered violations of the EVE Online End User License Agreement (EULA) and individuals found to be involved in (attempted) character sale scams will be permanently banned from EVE Online across all their accounts, without recourse.

One of the primary appeals of the Character Bazaar is that it allows players to acquire highly specialized characters without having to wait for long-term skill training. Since skill progression in EVE Online is time-based, developing a new character for a specific role — whether it be a capital pilot, well-rounded high-SP sub-capital pilot, industrialist, trader, hauler, or something else — can take months or even years. Instead of starting from scratch, players can browse the Bazaar to find characters that already meet their desired criteria, often at a lower ISK cost than if they were to try and inject a character from scratch using Skill Injectors.

For sellers, the Bazaar provides a way to monetize their trained characters in ISK if they no longer need them or want to reallocate resources to a different playstyle. Pricing is influenced by factors such as:

Trained and Unallocated Skill Points
Focused training in specific ship types (e.g., a Caldari Dreadnought or Fax pilot vs. a generalist sub-capital pilot)
The desirability of specific applied skills like Jump Drive Calibration, Fleet Command, or weapon proficiency

General Notes

Down-payment plans are not supported by CCP Customer Support. As a seller, you are agreeing to a certain amount of ISK only, which is to be paid in one payment. Once again, any forms of scams regarding character sales are prohibited.
All skill training must be paused before transferring the character.
Accounts can only be involved in one character transfer at a time. If either the sending or the receiving account have an ongoing character transfer, other transfer attempts will fail.
The character bazaar forum is for buying and selling of characters, you may reply to the threads with bids or questions regarding the character/s. All other posts are off-topic and will be removed. Answering posts of this nature will be counted as your daily allowed bump.
Due to technical issues, players with accounts through Steam cannot currently have characters transferred to their accounts if they have not set an account name. This article details the process for doing so. They are able to transfer characters off of them as long as all other requirements are met.
Accounts that have been previously banned for macro use are not eligible for character sales.
Agreements on the forums or in game, or winning an auction does not guarantee a character will be transferred to you. The seller may choose to renege on a deal at any time, prior to the transaction being completed.

The receiving account does not need to be Omega. You can transfer from/to an Alpha status account.
There is a mandatory 10-hour waiting period between initiating a character transfer and the transfer being completed.
