: First remark. "Biased spawns towards conflict zones rather than rearguard systems" Noob hat on - What are conflict zones and rearguard systems? -- [[User:Evon R'al|Evon R'all]] ([[User talk:Evon R'al|talk]]) 15:22, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
:: Good catch, conflict zone should be Frontline systems. Frontline systems are systems that are adjacent to an enemy held system. Rearguard systems are FW systems that aren't adjacent to a enemy held system or a friendly Frontline system. I don't think these terms should be defined here though, as they are terms that are used by Faction Warfare as a whole. [[User:Piscine Martin Yu|Piscine Martin Yu]] ([[User talk:Piscine Martin Yu|talk]]) 16:48, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
::: Well, not being familiar with FW at all the name being wrong is not what I was hinting at. I agree with not defining the terms here but a link to where they are defined/explained is a good idea. After all, one of the major strong points of a wiki is the linking from terms used in an article to were the are defined/explained. Because, you know where but a fresh reader does not so should be helped with a link. Don't make them search but lead them to the "water". -- [[User:Evon R'al|Evon R'all]] ([[User talk:Evon R'al|talk]]) 18:53, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
== Response to the review request at #wiki ==
As I am no SME on insurgency, heck I am a noob on that no experience at all, I will keep my comments to the more technical stuff.
* You are using the {{Tl|Icon}} template. As that has been declared deprecated it should not be used for new articles anymore.
* Noob hat on - The Pirate Faction Warfare Corporations table looks nice, but I'm a noob so I've got no idea (yet) what those images mean. Or for some technical reasons the images don't load. Either way it is a good idea to have some standard text here. Something like this maybe:
{| class="wikitable" style="text-align: center;"
|+ Pirate Faction Warfare Corporations | |||
! Faction !! FW Corporation !![[File:Wars.png|24px]] [[Faction warfare#Permanent_war|At War With ]]
|- | |||
| [[File:logo_faction_guristas_pirates.png|32px|Guristas Pirates<!--This causes a pop-up with this text when hovering over the image-->]] Guristas || '''Commando Guri''' || [[File:logo_faction_gallente_federation.png|32px|Gallente Federation]] Gallente <br>[[File:logo_faction_caldari_state.png|32px|Caldari State]] Caldari | |||
|- | |||
| [[File:logo_faction_angel_cartel.png|32px|Angel Cartel]] Angels || '''Malakim Zealots''' || [[File:logo_faction_minmatar_republic.png|32px|Minmatar Republic]] Minmatar <br>[[File:logo_faction_amarr_empire.png|32px|Amarr Empire]] Amarr | |||
|} | |||
* <nowiki>[[File:AgencyPirateInsurgencyUI.png|thumb|Example of an in-progress Pirate Insurgency. In this...|472px]]</nowiki> nothing technically wrong here. <br>Just telling you what and why I would do here. I would put it in this order <nowiki>[[File:AgencyPirateInsurgencyUI.png|thumb|472px|Example of an in-progress Pirate Insurgency. In this...]]</nowiki>. Why? Well the thumb style is applied to the file and has a default size of 300px by putting the 472px directly after the thumb parameter I can see immediately that the thumb parameter is customized.
* Just discovered an article about [[shipcaster]] could be linked to if there is any relevance. On second look there might be a bit of vicious circle going on here Shipcaster links to Zarzakh#Deathless_Shipcaster which in turn links to shipcaster.
* Insurgency Activities looks perfectly OK for now but in the feature as more information and maybe tactics are added the different sites may warrant their own articles.
* Side note: articles in user space should normally not have active category links, that is why I commented it out. It is mentioned in this article [[UniWiki:Categorization]].
* You've put the tables and the insurgency image inside a table (for formatting purpose?) that is not how I would have done it. Why? If a narrower view on the article is used both tables and the image end up above most of the text, breaking the connection between the table/image and the section they are related to. Now of course that could be what you are aiming for. But if not, I would put the Pirate Faction Warfare Corporations table where it is now, put the image at the top of the Insurgency section and the Insurgency Activities on top of the Insurgency Activities section. Also keep in mind that links might lead directly to a specific section with as result that the tables and images might not be seen at all.

: I've addressed the issues with the tables and the image parameters. I've moved the tables out of the big formatting table after reviewing on mobile and agreeing that a more adaptive format would be better. The image regrettably had to be shrunk to avoid issues but ultimately it is not a big issue.
: Factions table was updated to be more newbie friendly.
: Additional links added at start of page for important information (ie Faction Warfare, what are the warzones, etc).
