Structures are an important part of EVE Online. Players and groups may own their own structures, and they can be very valuable as well as providing strategic advantages. In EVE University we use the phrase 'player-owned structure' to cover a range of items, including citadels, POSes, POCOs, or any other permanently placed structure owned by a player or a player organisation.

* The only time our members are permitted to take aggressive action against a player-owned structure is with permission from either a Director, a Diplomat, or the Campus Manager in the area of space where the structure is placed. The best place to ask for permission for this is in Discord because it allows for an immediate response, even if the person who needs to make the decision is not online. Due to the potential impact on EVE University of us attacking a structure, and the timers involved, we will need you to have detailed plan before permission is granted to attack a structure, including when the timers are (if any), the doctrines you plan to use, the strategy you plan to use, etc. We don't expect you to do everything yourself, but if you are unable to come up with a decent plan to make the engagement successful, permission will not be granted.
* Taking aggressive action against a player owned structure is considered a strategic operation, and will be organised  and lead by our senior FC team. The only time our members are permitted to take aggressive action against a (non abandoned) player-owned structure is with permission from either the FC Coach, or a Director.

* If a structure is in an 'abandoned' state and is neutral or below, permission to attack it can be obtained from a Director, Diplomat or Campus Manager or Assistant Campus Manager.
* However, if a structure is in an 'abandoned' state and is neutral or below, permission to attack it can be obtained from a Director, FC Coach, Diplomat or Campus Manager.

* Using an entosis link against a player-owned structure without permission from a Director, a Diplomat, or the Campus Manager in the area of space where the structure is placed is prohibited.
* Senior FCs are permitted to organise and carry out strategic operations against corporations  and alliances Ivy League is at war with and do not need permission to aggress their structures.

* The above rules also apply to using entosis links against player-owned structures.

* Members may defend structures owned by corporations or alliances which are +5 or +10 to EVE University, including those owned by alts of members. But we do not take responsibility for defending any structures other than our own.
