Uriel's Uni Abyssal track
Day 0
Step 1: Getting started
Uriels Uni Abyss | Abyssal Tracker Eve Workbench |
Video guide: | Youtube: Uriels E-Uni T0 Electrical Tristan |
Initial Investment: | 1.3 Million ISK |
Recorded Average Return Rate: | 20–25 million ISK per hour |
Skill list
This skill plan is available to all pilots, regardless of clone state. |
Basic T0 Skill plan
This skill list is provided for a NEW toon (player) with the 1,000,000 Skill point "invite a friend" bonus. Caldari empire is recommended. This (and subsequent level V) skills provide a good base for the T0 Tristan "Uriels Uni Abyss" fit.

Step 2: Funding the Worm
Uriels Uni Upgraded (Tristan?> | Eve Workbench |
Initial Investment: | 15.3 million ISK |
Recorded Average Return Rate: | 25-28 million ISK per hour (100% survival rate!) |
Steps 1 and 2 of the the abyssal track are designed for Tranquil Electrical Filaments. We call these "T0 Abyssals". They're a great way to be introduced to the abyss. Many of these ships have been supplied to new players with very positive results.
Please be thorough in your studies before you enter the abyss. Watching the video guides will help a lot. We also recommend you read the abyssal tracker website links where provided. Write-ups are available on those pages. Players are also welcome to join Uriel's in-game chat channel, "RPR-Abyss", where this information is stored in the Message of the Day, and where they can meet a pool of players happy to help with any questions. Abyssal Lurkers may also help, but the fits listed here are not tied to their community.
Step 3: Road to Omega
Uriels-Electrical-Worm-PLEX'er | Abyssal Tracker Eve Workbench |
Video guide: | Eve T1 Abyssal Worm |
Initial Investment: | 51.3 million ISK |
Recorded Average Return Rate: | 40-50 million ISK per hour |
Step 4: Faster ISK/hr
Uriels-Upgraded-PLEXr | Eve Workbench |
Initial Investment: | 53.8 million ISK |
Recorded Average Return Rate: | 45++ million ISK per hour (Upper 90's Survival Rate!) |
Step 3 and 4 of the abyssal track are designed for Calm Electrical Filaments. We call these "T1 Abyssals". This is the next progression after "graduating" from the Tristan.
Once again, be thorough in your studies, and complete some T0s in the Tristan fit before starting here. Many players will be able to afford and fly the Step 4 fit right away but, nevertheless, they are strongly advised to at least start with Step 2 and only move up to Step 4 after having completed dozens of T0s. The jump up can be a shock.
Step 5: Maintaining Omega
Uriels ePLEX T4 | Abyssal Tracker Eve Workbench |
Initial Investment: | 315 million ISK |
Recorded Average Return Rate: | 100+ Million ISK per hour (with an upper 90s percentage survival rate) |
The Gila fits can and probably should be ran on lower-tier filaments until you get the hang of things. We, and more importantly the Abyss, don't care how good you think you are. "Elite PvPers" have died plenty of times taking this fit straight in without experience and thinking "PvE is easy". Pilots who don't have the names on their kill priority list memorized, don't understand the fit's weaknesses, or don't know the structures and weather in the Abyss by heart should not start here.
Step 6: ISK freedom
Uriels ePLEX T5 | Abyssal Tracker Eve Workbench |
Video guide: | Uriels ePLEX-T5 EVE Online Abyssals |
Investment: | 900+ Million ISK |
Return Rate: | 175–250 Million ISK per hour |

Day 0 kneeboard
provided by Irving Farnham
In aircraft operations, a "kneeboard" is a handy knee-mounted reference tool that helps a pilot keep vital information to hand for regular checking.
The following lists are checklists. Survival in the Abyss requires you to keep paying attention to your piloting and to every key safety detail every time, however familiar and routine runs start to feel. Running through these checklists every time will help prevent avoidable losses.
Post-fitting (once per ship)
- Set up two groups, "Strike/CAP" and "Damaged" (names are arbitrary)
- Set Strike/CAP to launch group (right click on group name and make favorite)
You will need to undock your ship to access the Drones window and do this.
Pre-flight
- 8 Acolytes
- 1,000 rounds EMP S ammunition (see notes[1])
- Nanite repair paste
- Ensure Acolytes and ship in good repair
Pre-operation
- Check drone passive/aggressive settings
- Check drone abandonment warning engaged
- Assign Acolytes to Strike/CAP
Pre-jump
- Check thermals / disable overheat
- Reload cannon
- Recover all drones
- Damage assessment and repair (Check drone status, re-evaluate groups, repair components)
Post-jump, on Abyss entry
- Note enemy types, objective, and weather types
- Avoid/approach towers as appropriate while generating transverse motion
- Engage enemy
Post-jump, on return to Realspace
- Check Local and Overview for immediate threats
- Select exit point, engage afterburner and issue warp command
- Disable afterburner by the end of its first cycle
Default drone commands cheat-sheet:
- Launch strike group: Shift+F
- Engage: F
- Recall to orbit: Shift+Alt+R
- Recall to bay: Shift+R
Notes/reminders:
- ^ 1,000 rounds, 240 loaded 760 in bay, takes up less than two cubic meters, and provides four loads per gun, or in excess of 20 minutes of continuous fire at 20 rounds per minute. As this would cover an entire 20 minute run with continuous fire, and the canon are secondary weapons, this seems sufficient.
Thank you to everyone who read, added, critiqued, and supported this.
