Further, these sites can very easily be connected to this event at this point in time, such that it won't be misconstrued as for something more general or something more than it is. For that same reason, I do not see the benefit of pruning ship fittings. The main raison d'etre for removing ship fits - a decision on many occasions I have stated my disapproval over - was that the Uni did not have the capacity to keep fits up to date with the many metas of EVE (which I agree, though I saw what I thought was a task group that could've rectified that). Given that like the sites, the fits will be frozen in their context and purpose, I can't see them ever getting "out of date" in the same way as 2013-era general battleship fits did.
