3-Frigate Abyssals

The 3-frigate level 1 Abyssals event is a template by Turlough Dominian. Most of the content is from forum posts by organisers like Turlough and Devola Gestalt[1].

Participation requirements

  • Be able to fly a T1 frigate.
  • Optionally, read a little about Abyss deadspace. See our wiki page.
  • Relating to the overview: participants must ensure that they have 'Precursor cache', 'Abyssal drone entities' and 'Abyssal spaceship entities' checked for the tab they'll be using.

Event objectives

  • Participants are divided into teams of three, with one amongst them being the designated Abyssal FC.
  • Each team activates a set of calm filaments (can be provided by the events organiser) and runs sites together.
  • The event organiser can optionally provide prizes to whichever team completes each site first/runs the most sites in a given amount of time. See the Abyssal speedrun contest template for more on this.

Devola Gestalt

If possible, I would like to run Dark filaments if everyone in my team have missile boats. If you can't fly missile boats, we'll fall back to Electrical filaments. In this case prefer:

  • Ranged turrets or drone boats. Avoid extremely brawly frigates. If you can choose damage type, go for EM.
  • Self reps: either a passive shield regen, or active armor/shield self rep.
  • Afterburner.
