Penumbra/Chapter 3 - The Bottom Line

The Bottom Line is the third and last chapter of Caldari epic arc. The decision you made in first chapter will dictate what missions you are offered in here. If you chose to side with Hyasyoda you will start with mission "The Knowledge to Act", otherwise you will start from mission "A Difference of Opinion".

Mission Objective: Report back to Arikio Kuretsu in Wuos

Reward: 250,000 + 1,130,000 (Bonus if completed in 4H 30M)
Report back to Arikio Kuretsu in Wuos (Best to arrive in a BS ready for the final mission).
Mission 18 - Across the Line - (Hyasyoda path)
Mission Type: Encounter
Faction: Nugoeihuvi (Caldari Ships)
Space type: Deadspace*
Mission Objective: Retrieve Deteis Family (0.1 m3)
Damage dealt: Kin/Therm
Web/point: Nugoeihuvi Elite Frigates
Recommended ship: Battleship
Recommended damage dealing: Kinetic (best), Thermal (secondary)
Reward: Standup Hyasyoda Research Lab Blueprint and Caldari State Faction standing increase.
Single pocket with no acceleration gate. When you warp in only Nugoeihuvi Caretaker is present guarding the structure. The rest of the defenders arrive after you approach (100 km) or attack the caretaker. You can warp inside the pocket including to the target structure but any warp from outside of the pocket will land you to the warpin point making this pocket an oddly behaving deadspace. This allows you to warp around for awesome kiting, and each time you warp you will break all target locks and cause all the inbound torps to miss you. This method is great for a dedicated sentry drone ship (e.g. Dominix) since each warp breaks their jams so you can relaunch your sentries and assign them to another target before you are jammed again - your drones will continue to attack that target until it is destroyed, at which point you can scoop them, warp to another bookmark, and repeat.)
The incoming damage is quite high and if the frigates get close you won't be able to warp away. Jams from cruisers can add extra annoyance to the fight.
Blitz: Kill Caretaker and scram frigs, grab family and warp. Since the pocket allows warping inside you can pull the rats away from the structrure and then warp to the structure when the area is safe.

Faction: Caldari (ishukone)
Mission Type: Encounter
Objective: Recover the original hard copies of the mission documents from somewhere inside the Ishukone Watch facility
Space type: Deadspace

Reward: 20 Nugoehuvi Synth Blue Pill Booster and Caldari State Faction standing increase.
After you kill all the ships you must approach the central building to receive a message and spawn a container with 1x Ishukone Operational Reports (0.1 m3). Return to agent and complete mission.
Blitz: Kill the webbing towers and whichever other rats who web/point you. burn towards the tower, can will spawn some 50km from where the dialog pops up; Loot item and warp out. Blitzing assume you can tank the whole room (e.g.:Tengu with specific resists). Control enemy DPS accordingly.

Objective: Retrieve ten thousand Caldari POW's (5,000m3) from Teskanen
Recommended Ship: Blockade Runner
Reward: 25m isk and Caldari State Faction standing increase.
Mission completion ends the Caldari Epic Arc.
