Penumbra/Chapter 1 - Proof of Intent

Proof of Intent is the first chapter of Penumbra. The isk rewards given here are only approximations.

Mission 1 - The Intermediary

Katsen Isha

Only one jump to travel. Speaking to Agent Katsen Isha after docking in station completes the mission.

Mission 2 - Trust And Discretion

Only one jump to deliver the cargo. This mission can be completed remotely and the next mission accepted remotely so you can do this with your combat ship and proceed directly to mission 3 without returning to the agent.

Mission 3 - Their Loss, Our Profit

Single ungated pocket. If you can tank the rats you can just blow up the research facility and take the item.

Mission 4 - The Paths That Are Hidden (Story Arc Branch)

This mission has 3 different branch options. The final reward of this Epic Arc is based on your decision here. Choosing either Two Two Steps Into Hell or Playing It Safer will side you with Nugoeihuvi and you will later be able to chooce either Nugoeihuvi reward or Caldari state reward. An Honorable Betrayal on the other hand will side you with Hyasyoda allowing you to choose either Hyasyoda or Caldari State reward later.

Note: Making the selection completes the mission.

Two Steps Into Hell
Deliver S.I. Formula Sheet to the Nugoeihuvi Cargo Facility in KFR-ZE (Syndicate) in Null Security. The final reward will either be from Nugoeihuvi (20x Nugoeihuvi Synth Blue Pill Booster + Caldari State standing) or from Caldari State(ISK + Caldari State standing) depending on your choice later.

Playing It Safer
Deliver S.I. Formula Sheet to the Nugoeihuvi Cargo Facility in Faurulle (Solitude) in Low Security. The final reward will either be from Nugoeihuvi (20x Nugoeihuvi Synth Blue Pill Booster + Caldari State standing) or from Caldari State(ISK + Caldari State standing) depending on your choice later.

An Honorable Betrayal
Report to Arikio Kuretsu in Wuos (Wuos V - Moon 1 - Hyasyoda Corporation Mining Outpost) in High Security. (Make sure to bring S.I Formula Sheet). The final reward will either be from Hyasyoda (1x Hyasyoda Mobile Laboratory + Caldari State standing) or from Caldari State (isk + Caldari State Standing). After completing the three Hyasyoda missions you will come back to choose between the other two options.

Mission 4.1 (Hyasyoda Branch) - An Honorable Betrayal

Fly to the new agent. Don't forget to take S.I Formula Sheet with you.

Mission 4.2 (Hyasyoda Branch) – Proof of Intent

Once you report to Arikio Kuretsu in Wuos, you explain to him what NOH is having you do in regards to his corporation. He then has a lengthy explanation about how Hyasyoda has nothing to do about these things. To complete this mission you have to give the agent the S.I Formula Sheet.

Mission 4.3 (Hyasyoda Branch) – Return to Isha

Arikio Kuretsu sends you back to Poinen, where you then get 'Re-examining Options', see Mission 4 'The Paths That Are Hidden' for details. This also unlocks the Hyasyoda story arc branch after you complete either one. (Don’t forget to take the S.I Formula Sheet)

Mission 4.4 (Hyasyoda Branch) – Re-examining Options

You will be given the choice between 'Two Steps Into Hell' (Null Sec) and 'Playing It Safer' (Low Sec). Note that this time the selection has no effect on the final reward of the epic arc. Proceed with either "5A: Two Steps Into Hell (nullsec)" or "Mission 5B: Playing If Safer (lowsec)" as you will fly essentially the same missions.

Mission 5A - Two Steps Into Hell

The mission area does not have combat. Simply drop the formula sheet in the container. The mission can be completed remotely. This courier mission takes you to null, take normal precautions in Null Sec, such as never warping directly from gate to gate to avoid bubbles. If you lose the mission item you will fail the epic arc, you can retry three months later.

If you took this mission from "The Paths That Are Hidden" your next mission will be "Too Close for Comfort".
If you took this mission from "Re-examining Options" your next mission will be "Almost Unmasked".

Mission 5B - Playing It Safer

The mission area does not have combat. To travel to Solitude you will either have to travel long way though Aridia (low) or short way though Syndicate (null). If you lose the mission item you will fail the epic arc, you can retry three months later.
