::Yeah long time no see :) "If the rat spawn tables are different enough, the latter is probably more ideal." The spawn table depends on the side you work for or rather fight: If you work for DED, you run the smuggler hideouts and stargates. There you fight smugglers. If you work for the  smugglers (or 'deathless'), you run the confiscated hideouts and stargates. There you fight SARO NPCs. You can easily see the stats for either group on https://everef.net/ by searching or 'smuggler' or 'SARO'. Besides the NPCs you face, the sites are pretty similar to each other. "Would these be part of the main page, or as subpages" I'm not sure. It also depends if these sites will return next year or if this is a one time thing. As you probably noticed, there is already a page for the Smuggler Hideout. I'm not sure what the best structure/organization would be that's why I rather commented instead of creating a bunch of new articles for the other sites. I let the other people who are editing this page (like you) decide and will just fill in the things I can contribute. ::: Let's keep our Wiki flat and without subpages. Chris created Smuggler Hideout with the intention to create a page per site per faction, but I'd like the page to be renamed into a more neutral name so that you can store all the info about all the Event Combat Sites in one place. Also, create one page for Event Hacking Sites and put all the info into it. I count on these pages to be a one-off thing that I'll delete after the Event is over (especially the ship fittings!). ::::"I count on these pages to be a one-off thing that I'll delete after the Event is over" Why would I bother to contribute anything when it will get deleted? Erwin Madelung (talk) 05:41, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
::::: Because even if your contribution stays up for two weeks, it might still be of great help to your fellow capsuleers. All in-game event Wiki pages have a short window when they are useful. Feel free to replace the word "deleted" with "make it into a historical page" in the sentence your quoted. However, the ship fittings I will delete for sure. :::::: Wiki got the Past content template for that, as been used at the other limited time events. --Evon R'al (talk) 16:28, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
::::::: Approve of Evon's comment. Further, these sites can very easily be connected to this event at this point in time, such that it won't be misconstrued as for something more general or something more than it is. For that same reason, I do not see the benefit of pruning ship fittings. The main raison d'etre for removing ship fits - a decision on many occasions I have stated my disapproval over - was that the Uni did not have the capacity to keep fits up to date with the many metas of EVE (which I agree, though I saw what I thought was a task group that could've rectified that). Given that like the sites, the fits will be frozen in their context and purpose, I can't see them ever getting "out of date" in the same way as 2013-era general battleship fits did. :::::::: Let's not lose sight of our goal: make Wiki pages that will help capsuleers enjoy the Event. After talking to Drebin privately I have made the following decisions: there should be one page for hacking and one page for combat sites; event pages will be marked with Past content after the event ends; fittings on event pages clearly marked as Past content will be kept until next year as they could potentially be used to create fittings for other events. I did say deleted. My mind has been changed (and if I encounter new and more persuasive arguments, I will change my mind again!). This is not the time and place for explaining why I said deleted rather than archived or marked as Past content, but I assure you my intentions were good, true and pure.
