The Ravelin served as an outer fort, built to launch sorties and raids against those trying to assault the main fortress. As with the rest of the ancient imperial fortress the Ravelin has fallen into ruins. The ancient acceleration gate here was used by the defenders to move quickly to some other part of the fortress, though it's impossible to tell which part, as it is dysfunctional.
The Blood Raiders didn't bother claiming the Ravelin when they invaded the complex, instead focusing on getting the main fortress back in order. So the Ravelin is now occupied by enemies of the Blood Raiders, as well as journalists and scavengers. |

The reference to "fundamentalists" in this pocket's name is traditional. It was carried over from the scouts who re-established communications with the old fanatics that inhabited this deadspace complex for a thousand years after the empire lost interest in it.
Ever loyal to the emperor, the settlers eventually found that their equipment had deteriorated to the point that, when Kador's scouts and diplomats reached them for the re-activation of the complex, nearly all they had left was unusable. The power cores actually proved so unstable that most of them blew up within the first month of reactivation, taking half of the stations with them. |
The acceleration gate to the Treasure Chamber is locked and requires a key. The key is received from Ormon Parsik and Sheroz Amokin. The key is consumed on use.

Treasure Chamber
You will need a Bastion Master Key in order to enter this room. Bastion Master key is provided as a time reward bonus for completing "Blood Hunt - Morbid Burden (3 of 5)" mission for Sheroz Amokin or as a reward for completing "Pilgrim - Festival" mission for Ormon Parsik. The key is consumed when used.
There are 3 groups of NPCs: 4 destroyers on warp-in point, the group at Altar of the Blessed and the group at Generator building. The destroyers will aggro when you land on the grid, other groups are passive until they are either approached or attacked. After clearing the room, meaning destroying all NPCs and both Altar of the Blessed and Generator Building, both buildings will respawn after about 5 minutes of their destruction. However, building respawn will happen only once until next downtime. After both buildings are destroyed for the second time, only 4 destroyers from the warp-in point will keep respawining.
Attacking battleship group will aggro all ships. Loot Altar of the Blessed for The Apocryphon, loot Generator Building for Generator Debris. DPS in this room will be very high and frigates can point and web, giving the battleships the opportunity to wreck you in pieces. Bring a very tanky ship or use long-ranged weapons.
