''No sub-article about the Jackdaw roles or piloting tactics. You can write them here.''
The '''Jackdaw''' can be used to complete high security combat anomalies quickly. Simply warp into a combat anomaly, switch to sharpshooter mode, enable your shield tank and take out targets with the minimal amount of missiles for each target, prioritizing destroyers to decrease incoming damage. If done right, you can usually ignore the sentry towers, unless they are required to spawn more waves. It can effectively kill one frigate or destroyer per 2-3 missile volley (so either 1 or 2 ships per volley), depending on the target. It is best to ungroup your launchers to use them more effectively.

The Jackdaw was released in June 2015 in the Carnyx patch. The Tech 3 destroyers were given staggered releases from December 2014 to July 2015, with the order determined by players donating items to Empire NPCs. The Caldari received the third most donations, and had their Tech 3 destroyer released third.
