==Summary==

== Summary ==
The Vexor Navy Issue is the best cruiser-size drone platform out there, save perhaps for the [[Gila]]. Compared to the [[Vexor]], the bandwidth has been increased from 75 to 125 Mbit/s and the drone bay from 125 to 200 m3 while the medium hybrid turret damage bonus has been replaced by a drone speed bonus. This allows the Vexor Navy Issue to carry and fly a full set of small, medium and large drones. With good drone skills this ship can out damage many of its rivals, using large drones against large targets, and small drones against frigates.
+
In July 2019, the '''Vexor Navy Issue''' was changed from a glass cannon drone boat to a tanky, brawling focused fit. Its previous bandwidth that could control 5 heavy or sentry drones has been reduced down to 3 heavies/sentries, so capsuleers now must make use of the damage bonused turret slots alongside drones to get the strong DPS amount it could get before.

The main problem, especially against small ships, is the danger of getting your drones picked one after the other. Consider using a tracking disruptor with a tracking speed script to minimize this risk. Also, if the targets are expected to be far, consider replacing the large drones by Sentry Drones.

''This version of the ship has become extremely dominant in the specific niche of farming nullsec anomalies, making it one of the most commonly flown ships in the game. The VNI has an excellent combination of dps, mobility, ease of use, and price making it the obvious choice for anomaly running. For the same reasons, the VNI has also become one of the most commonly used ships among those who break the rules by engaging in botting.

''Whenever a ship becomes this dominant in a specific role, it has the unfortunate side effect of crowding out other options and making the choice of what ship to fly less interesting. We have made a series of small tweaks to the VNI over time in an attempt to gradually reduce its dominance, however we have now concluded that the best path forward is a larger revamp of the VNI’s design.''

Summary

In July 2019, the Vexor Navy Issue was changed from a glass cannon drone boat to a tanky, brawling focused fit. Its previous bandwidth that could control 5 heavy or sentry drones has been reduced down to 3 heavies/sentries, so capsuleers now must make use of the damage bonused turret slots alongside drones to get the strong DPS amount it could get before.
