Overview

The AMC Refining Service Spreadsheet is used to request a personal ore refine services within the AMC provided services.

The Refining Service offers our member a perfect refine of ore. To allow us to run the AMC and all related services we take a small handling fee for this service. The outcome for the members will be higher than a perfect refine with 0% tax in a NPC Station.

IMPORTANT: The Refining Service is only offered at AMC Home Station

The latest version is available at:
AMC Refine Service ORE

NOTES

As with all Google Doc Spreadsheets, you can either copy it to your own personal Google Doc area or download it as a Microsoft Excel (XLS) file or in an OpenOffice.org spreadsheet file.
We will not accept any submissions that have not come via a Google Docs spreadsheet.
There are sometimes compatibility issues when using the in-game browser and filling out the spreadsheet. An easy way to avoid numerous problems is to open the spreadsheet in an out of game browser and tab between the game and the spreadsheet while you fill it out.

Instructions

You'll find a brief instruction how to use this service. This includes the in game steps as well as the required steps out of game with google docs.

It's recommended to have the skill Contracting skilled up to Level 1 to process more than one contract at the same time.

Prepare the ore

Please use a Freight Container to store your ore and contract the container to participate in this service.

Name the containers following this convention: "Your Name (DATE)"

If you have more than one container to add please add a numeric addition to the container "Your Name (DATE) 01"

Create your spreadsheet copy

  1. Go to the current version
  2. Log into your google account
  3. Open the file menu and select "Make a Copy" (see image to right)
  4. Name it following this convention: "Your Name (DATE)" e.g. Jefferson Spence (18/11/2014)

Add the ore to the spreadsheet

  1. Go to the spreadsheet tab "Inventory"
  2. Add you ore numbers to the Amt Mined column (Column C)
  3. Review your outcome in column F

Create the contract

  1. Next you need to issue a 'Private' 'Item Exchange' contract to Bruce Industries at a home station.
  2. Within the contract creation you need to select the container you added the ore to.
  3. When you go on to the next windows you need to add the spreadsheet key to the description box (the part of the URL between ...key= and &USP... or ...key and #gid... see image for finding the key).
    Finding the spreadsheet key

Submit the spreadsheet

  1. Afterwards you've submitted the contract ingame you only need to submit the Refining Service Request.
  2. Go to the top right of your spreadsheet and click on the "Share" button to open sharing settings. Now select "Get shareable link" and copy the displayed link.
  3. After getting the share link you need to submit the Refining Service Request to the AMC Refining Service Submission Form
  4. Hit submit and sit back, after we've accepted your contract we'll refine it and setup a contract to you with the refined minerals.

Reasons for your contract to be declined

  • Value and/or quantity does not match on contract and spreadsheet.
  • Contract Station is not in AMC Homestation without AMC Staff approval.
  • Submission did not come via a Google Docs spreadsheet
