NSC Skill Training Rewards

From time to time the NSC runs rewards programmes for pilots who train into skills needed by the campus. This thread lists the rewards currently available.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a skill training reward from the NSC, you must:

have finished trained the skill to the specified level after the start date specified and before any specified end date have participated in at least one NSC fleet have made a post in the NSC "Hi and Bye" thread in the NSC forum comply with any additional requirements listed for the particular skill reward send proof of the above to the NSC Manager, Bora Vyvorant, in the form of: a screen capture of the skill history table showing the completed skill (This is found by clicking your character portrait, going to skills and then history.) a link to your post in the Hi and Bye thread a link to the AAR or battle report of a fleet you participated in Leadership V

Reward: 25M ISK and a Wing Command skillbook (to be injected, not sold)

Start date: 2015-10-07 End date: indefinite; a 1-month notice period will be announced should we decide to discontinue this reward

The Leadership skill allows you to take the Squad Commander position in a fleet and pass boosts to squad members, up to a limit of twice your Leadership skill level. With Leadership V, you are able to pass boosts to all members of a 10-pilot squad. Many FCs will call "Leadership V take squad command positions"... this means you.

We recommend that you supplement this training with the following:

Armored Warfare III Information Warfare III Mining Foreman III (if you ever mine) Siege Warfare III Skirmish Warfare III Wing Command III The Warfare skills will give you and other members of your squad a 2% bonus to a relevant property per level trained when properly deployed. We recommend training the four Warfare skills to level III; this will take around one day's training in total and provide a 6% bonus to armor hit points, targeting range, shield capacity and agility.

The Wing Command skill can be trained to level III in around 1.5 days, and allows you to pass boosts to a wing of up to three squads of up to ten pilots each. The skillbook is not normally available under the E-Uni skillbooks programme, as it costs 2M ISK, but will be provided on request to NSC pilots completing Leadership V.

Welcome pilots! In order to attract attention to our most unrepresented and unappreciated, ths LSC has launched a program targeted at you: the logi pilots.

Eligibility

We are dirty pirates, but even we could do with some ground rules:

Pilot must be an active Eve University member (no alts) Pilot must have taken part in at least one LSC fleet operation Ship hulls will only be provided at Uphallant Proof of training completion and must be submitted via screenshot that includes pilot name and skill completion Proof of LSC fleet operation must be submitted via an AAR link

Click Here > All requests for this program must be submitted at this link < Click Here

Base Logi Skills

Reward: Logistics Frigate Skillbook

The easiest of the bounties. Train both Remote Armor Repair Systems IV and Shield Emission Systems IV and submit your proof.

T2 Frigate Logi

Reward: T2 Logistics Frigate hull

A bit more training now. This requires Racial Frigate V and Logitics Frigates IV. This reward can be claimed 4 times: once per racial frigate.

T2 Cruiser Logi

Reward: T2 Logistics Cruiser hull

A bit more training now. This requires Racial Cruiser V and Logitics Cruiser IV. This reward can be claimed 4 times: once per racial cruiser. Because of the increased cost and experienced required to fly logi cruisers compared to frigates there are two additional requirements: Pilot must submit a fitting they plan on using with their logi cruiser; It must be cap stable (with ET if a Basilisk or Guardian) Pilot must submit links to 3 AARs in which they have flown T1 cruiser logi

Get to it folks! Time to update the skill queue and start getting those sweet sweet logi rewards.

After consultation with Bora and my fellow NSC combat officers (and with Bora's approval, of course), I'm pleased to announce an expansion of the NSC leadership incentive program. This works in tandem with the LSC logi pilot initiative, and in fact draws quite a lot of inspiration from it. In general we hope that enough people enjoy flying with both NSC and LSC that they can benefit from both programs. :)
