Incursionlogosmall.png The information presented here represents how we do things in the EVE University Incursion Community. It does not represent the best or only way to run Incursions. We make some compromises when it comes to efficiency for the sake of additional safety to create an environment where anyone can step up and learn a new role.

None of the fits posted on this page are in the EVE Univeristy Incursion Community Doctrine. Acceptance in fleets will be entirely at FCs discretion.

Vanguard fittings

There is a reason that the Vangaurd Incursion doctrine is the way it is - it has been designed to provide members of the Univeristy a selection of safe, reliable, and generally useful fits. However, this is somewhat limiting, and variety is the spice of life. On this page, you will find a range of fits for various ships that work for Incursions, built based on the Incursion Fitting Principles of this community. However, none of them are optimal ships, and if you are considering buying a shiny new ship to fly with us, please look towards the doctrine fits as these will give you the most value for your money.

If that has not convinced you, and you are desparate to be a snowflake and fly wacky ships simply because they are cool, then this page details how you might go about doing so safely. The fits listed below are not the only way you could go about fitting these ships, but the fits have been designed so that the ISK cost of the modules is appropriate as compared to the ISK cost of the hull (i.e. T1 battleships will mostly be fitted with T2 modules, and pirate hulls with faction and deadspace).

Damage Dealer Ships

These fits are minimum fits, able to contribute to fleet efficiency. Some of the rigging choices may seem weird for these fits, but they are all chosen to allow for extreme flexibility in refitting between Vanguards, Assaults as well as Headquarter sites. As such, some fits you see here may seem slightly compromised, but that is a choice we made to allow people to use the same ship for all the different sites. If you have a substantially similar incursions rig that is already attached to your ship, please do not feel obliged to switch those incursion rigs out in order to run with us.

Entry Level (T1) Battleships

Megathron Navy Issue

Macherial

Bhaalgorn

Vargur

This is a shield fit. It is fine to bring along, and is compatible with HQs

Guardian

Zarmazd

Proteus

Legion

Nestor

Logibooster

The Astarte is the only doctrine logibooster as it is the only ship that is both bonused for Armour and Skirmish bursts, and has enough highslots to fit sufficient reps. These fits are either worse than the Astarte (i.e. the Eos fit), or do not provide the correct command bursts (i.e. Damnation) and as such must be run with a Strategic Crusier logistics ship providing the missing bursts.
