Thank you for your interest in applying to join EVE University. Please note that in order to process the large number of applications we receive, EVE University uses its own recruitment tool to track applications. Please read this page carefully to get started.

EVE University [E-UNI] is the oldest and largest in-game corporation specifically designed to train new players.

 +
We offer regular classes, fleets, and events,  one-on-one mentoring, free ships, and a variety of other services to help new players experience everything EVE has to offer. Our only mission is to help new players learn as much as possible, to prepare them for a successful career in one of EVE's many other player corporations.

You can read more about what we offer here.

Our application process is a multi-stage process, as below:

 +
If you are looking to join EVE University, please follow the full procedure below. This will get your application entered into our short queue and ensure you have access to our services (Discord, Mumble, Forum). Please complete all steps to avoid delays with your application. Do not apply with any other characters than your main, you can get additional characters into EVE University once you are a member.

# First you will need to register for an account on our recruitment tool. Instructions for this are below.

# Next you will use the link at the bottom of this page to go to our actual application. During the application we will ask you to fill out a short questionnaire.

# You will then need to wait for your application to be reviewed by one of our Personnel Officers. While you are waiting we will ask you to set up your overview and install Mumble (our voice communications software).

# When a Personnel Officer has reviewed your application they will send you a mail in-game with the next steps. If you have been approved for the next stage of the process this mail will contain instructions what to do next.  Some applicants will have instructions on how to join without an interview, but others will need to be interviewed before getting accepted to corp.  The mail will give instructions on whichever process is next.  It normally takes a couple of days to receive a mail.

# If you are asked to interview, when you are in-game and have time for an interview you can then join the interview queue. When one or our Personnel Officers is available they will call you for an interview. The actual interview normally takes 30 to 60 minutes, but bear in mind that it may take a few days to be called for an interview. You will only be called for an interview if you are online and in the interview queue, so just join the queue when you would be playing the game anyway.

# During the interview the Personnel Officer will bring you into EVE University (if you're accepted) and set up your access so you can get started.

All our Personnel Officers are volunteers, so we cannot guarantee when they will be online. Please be patient with the process, and if you have any problems, contact the Director of Personnel.

If you are a member already and want to add another character to the corporation, please check out Adding additional characters or Adding Alt Characters that are on different accounts.

EVE University [E-UNI] is the oldest and largest in-game corporation specifically designed to train new players.

If you are a member already and want to add another character to the corporation, please check out Adding additional characters or Adding Alt Characters that are on different accounts.

An overview of the application process

1. Download and install Mumble and Discord. These are used for voice communication during fleets, general in-corp communication and our classes.

2. Authorize your character in the EVE University Alliance Auth system and fill out the application form. Please do not apply with any additional characters before your main character application has been processed and you have joined EVE University.

3. Wait for your application to be reviewed by an Intake Officer, this process may take up to 48 hours. While you wait, set up your Overview according to E-UNI standards.

4. After your application has been reviewed, you will get an in-game mail (EVE Mail) with any next steps. Most applicants will be invited to join immediately, in rare cases you may need to attend an interview.

Our staff are volunteers who enjoy playing actively just like you do. We cannot guarantee they will be processing applications while online. Please be patient, and if you have any problems, ask on Discord in #alliance-auth or #eve-uni-public-help. If you have trouble setting up Discord, feel free to reach out to our staff in our in-game chat channel EVE University or send them an in-game mail directly.
