Armour Doctrine
The "Baby HACs" doctrine is heavily armored cruisers with beam lasers that use high armor resistances and generous buffer to catch reps from (ideally T2) Logistics. While slow, their ability to project damage out to around 50km coupled with heavy sensor damping means that they can hold a field against most common NullSec doctrines up to Heavy Assault Cruisers and Battlecruisers. Like other afterburning armor doctrines, they can also convincingly mitigate alpha from many battleship-size doctrines, assuming a reasonable numbers advantage. The main weakness of the doctrine is the relative ease of overtanking EM/thermal resists if you know these bad boys are coming at you. |

Long range glass cannon fit with sensor dampening as its principal defense. Normal use would be with the range script in both the sensor booster and remote sensor dampener. Best used in an alpha damage fleet of around 20 of these ships. The rigs are selected so that if you have Missile Bombardment IV and Missile Projection IV then you will have a reliable range of 72km. If you only have Missile Bombardment at III your reliable range comes down to only 63km (although the tooltip will claim a higher number), so please try and train that skill to IV.
