Main article: Homefront operation

The objective of this site is to destroy a single tower-like structure located at the center. At the start, the structure is either invulnerable or cloaked, and it only becomes vulnerable once three hackable arrays (data cans) are successfully hacked. Each hacked array activates a 90-second timer. If all three are hacked around the same time, this creates a 90-second damage window on the tower. The tower has 350,000 HP with no resistances.

Suspicious Signal: Secure the Intel

Be advised that some enemy ships (see Hostiles below) will aggressively target any launched drones.

Fleet size & composition

  • Optimal fleet size: 5 ships
  • Fleet composition: T1 Cruisers (DPS), T1 Logistic Cruisers (Logi)

Common group composition is 1 Logi and 4 DPS, among which 3 are Data Analyzer.

Type of ships allowed

This homefront operation takes place in a deadspace pocket with an acceleration gate that has ship restrictions.

Suspicious Signal in different empires

There are regional differences in the site’s description, hostile primary and secondary damage types, and EWAR.

WARNING: Ship fittings are region-specific. Each faction has unique resistances and damage types. An improper fit can cost you your ship.

Hostiles

A fleet consisting of frigates, destroyers, cruisers, and battlecruisers will be present upon arrival. They will concentrate their fire on one capsuleer ship at a time, beginning with the first vessel to enter the site, and may periodically switch targets as a group. An exception applies to hostiles with the Infiltrating, Evader, Spinner or Insurgent prefixes: these will immediately target any drones that are deployed, but will revert to attacking the currently focused capsuleer ship if no drones are present.

Interaction & standings

No standing is gained or lost when fighting the Amarr Empire, Caldari State, Gallente Federation, or Minmatar Republic ships present in the Suspicious Signal operations.

Rewards

Rewards for Suspicious Signal sites come in two forms: (1) ISK payout upon site completion, and (2) site-specific loot from the hackable arrays.

Majority of the reward consists of raw ISK payout upon completion, following the standard 5-pilot fleet payout curve with in a maximum payout of 15,000,000 ISK payout per pilot with a fleet of 5.

Each of the hackable arrays will drop between 1 and 3 units of loot per hack. These can be sold for 350,000 ISK per unit to NPC buy orders in certain regions of highsec.
