Shadow of the Serpent
Shadow of the Serpent is an event introduced with patch 118.6 and introduces a new campaign against the rising threat of the Serpentis organization. With the recent revelation of Serpentis Capital ships, CONCORD and the Empires see the organization as much more of a threat. The Scope act as a broker for capsuleers to find opportunities to contribute to the campaign.
This is to be the first in a sequence of events.
The current event started at 11PM on 29th June 2016 and will run for 40 days (11PM on 8th August 2016).
Participation
Challenges
Capsuleers can participate in Challenges that help in the campaign against Serpentis. The challenges are available via the Scope Network interface. Scope Network is visible in the Character selection screen and displays all active challenges available to the account. Scope Network is also available via the in-game Neocom menu.
- Only 4 active challenges are available to an account.
- Incomplete challenges will expire after 3 days.
- Points awarded are only valid until the end of the event.
- Completion of kills and sites are only tracked for active challenges.
- If two active challenges have similar goals then the kill/site is marked against only single challenge until it is complete.
Rewards
Based on the points accumulated from challenges, capsuleers can redeem a reward at the end of the event.
