The origins of the Expedition came about after an unknown abandoned cruiser, later identified as a Vedmak , was captured and quarantined in Yulai. In addition to finding Trinary Data Vaults and Abyssal Filaments within the ship, the "Filament Device" inside the ship was able to be recovered, and a replica was fitted to a CONCORD Enforcer cruiser to explore the Abyssal Deadspace, as theorized by CONCORD Professor Michael Mayor. The Expedition began as the crew of the modified Enforcer used the Filament, and then vanished into the Abyssal Deadspace

Pocket 1

Upon entering the Abyssal pocket, the entryway collapsed behind the Enforcer, preventing escape incase of danger. The expedition was immediately attacked by three unknown vessels (Later found to be a Damavik). This first engagement showcased the signature weapon of the Triglavians, the Entropic Disintegrators, which while weak at first, quickly ramps up in damage that was dealt with the Enforcer. Despite receiving significant damage to its shields, the Enforcer defeated the three Triglaivan ships and continued through the gate within the pocket, which was the only way to leave the instance.

Pocket 2

When the Enforcer entered the second pocket, they faced a much larger Triglavian battleship size vessel which immediately aggressed the expedition. While the ship tried to reduce damage from the Entropic Disintegrator by flying through asteroids, the Enforcer, already fairly damaged, was destroyed fairly quickly upon the first contact.

Aftermath

While the Expedition vessel did not return to Yulai, the transmission also showed another gate, which according to Professor Mayor leads to a third and final pocket before returning to the origin point in New Eden.

Following the end of the expedition, CONCORD formalized the information they had learned from it, as well as final deconstruction of the Vedmak, and announced to the Capsuleer community regarding their discoveries of the Triglavian Collective.
