A light craft that is evidently the Collective's equivalent of a frigate, the Damavik has proven adaptable to capsuleer technology along with the other Triglavian ship designs recovered from Abyssal Deadspace.
The Damavik is capable of mounting Light Entropic Disintegrators and an array of support weapons such as energy neutralizers and pulse weapons. The ship also makes use of drones and has a long-range remote repair capability.
Damavik Subclade of Perun Clade revised adaptation schema for cladeship of the 3 tactical troika classification has been accepted for imprinting in advancing-time generations after cladistic glorification over Samovda Subclade. Tactical subrole dispersal is in the gift of strategic troika. – partial translation of data included in recovered design schematics of the Damavik
Precursor Frigate bonuses (per skill level):
Only the precursor ships can fit Entropic Disintegrators. The new weapon system occupies a single turret slot and only one can be fitted, limited to Triglavian ships. This opens many possibilities as a large number of utility highs remain free.
The Entropic Disintegrator has unique characteristics such as increasing damage per cycle and no falloff. When a target is out of range of the weapon, or if any event causes the weapon to deactivate, the damage ramp-up is reset. The weapon system uses tracking mechanics and is impacted by tracking modules, using Entropic Radiation Sink modules as damage modules. The damage type is restricted to explosive and thermal. Ammunition is loaded into the Disintegrator like conventional weapon systems, and has no reload time.

As a part of Triglavian Collective lineup, the Damavik possesses several unique attributes that incentivizes certain tactics. Spider-tanking fleets with other Triglavian ships or logi is very effective, and its Smartbomb bonus can prove effective in PvE situations (although small smartbombs are rarely used). Due to the nature of Entropic Disintegrators, staying and focusing on a single target without stopping is strongly recommended as the damage for entropic disintegrators slowly builds up over time. It is strongly recommended to fit Energy Neutralizers in the surplus utility high-slots due to the strong bonus the ship receives for them.
The nature of Entropic Disintegrators cause the ship to be more PVP oriented, although it still performs extraordinarily in PVE. The Damavik is useful for null sec belt ratting due to its damage ramping bonus (which takes lots of time, something a frigate has when killing NPC battleships). It is recommended to have a small fleet of Damaviks ratting, due to the remote armor repair bonuses and the relatively close proximity of frigates while orbiting 500m of a NPC battleship. A fleet of fully skilled Damaviks could take down havens at ease. The primary of Damaviks fleets should be frigates, then destroyers/cruisers, and finally battleships. Sig and speed tanking is encouraged.
The Damavik pairs well with pretty much any other ship. A fleet of Damaviks can spider tank and free up a low slot - something that can be utilized for extra dps, more tank, or more fitting resources for other modules. The Damavik is also a great kiter - able to switch to long range ammo with no delay. The no-falloff/tracking is a huge advantage for the Triglavian ships, as they are practically immune to all but the most talented kiters. A tracking disruptor can help the Damavik survive in slightly larger scale fleet operations, although if that happens the pilot should upgrade to a Kikimora/Vedmak/Leshak. The nemesis of the Damavik is the Garmur.
Like all Tech 1 Triglavian subcapital ships, the Clade that designed the Damavik, Perun, has their name engraved atop the ship in Triglavian font (PERUN).

October 2018 Release 1.0 - Released 2018-10-09
We had hoped that even with only two mids it would be able to find a solid place by leveraging its high slot utility but that definitely hasn't happened. You guys were right!
We are going to move one of its lows into that all important third mid slot so that a much wider range of fits are possible. We hope this will bring it into a more competitive position in the frigate meta.
