While we regret the need to trouble an Imperial citizen, we imagine that confession was good for his soul. We have dispatched an assault group to eliminate his allies. They will clear your way so that you may strike Dagan down. |
Your selected agent will tell you to fly to the designated location to take out Dagan.
This is the third and final difficult mission of the epic arc. It is even more difficult then Mission 48: Chasing Shadows and Mission 28: Burning Down the Hive.
Dagan is flying an exotic Society of Conscious Thought battlecruiser: a Gnosis. Dagan's ship repairs its shields and armor at about 100HP/s, so you'll need to bring a ship that can deal more then 100DPS. You can preview how much you DPS your ship is doing in the ship fitting screen. It is recommended to bring a destroyer or a cruiser.
How do I survive?
As before, fit your ship properly, and use the correct tactics.
You could use a Epic Arc Dagan Killer fitting. Bring extra ammo.
Tactics
Dispatch the 4 escorts first. Lead them away from Dagan by manually piloting your ship. Double left click to fly the ship in a specific direction.
Now only Dagan remains. Reload your weapons. Fire your afterburners to close in quickly. When you are in 500m orbit around Dagan turn off your afterburner and start shooting. Expect to fight Dagan for more then a minute.
