Low Sec is an excellent stepping stone from the PVE oriented nature of HSC, to the large scale PVP combat of Null Sec. Located on the edge of [[Faction Warfare |Faction Warfare]] space, LSC is only a handful of jumps away from the major FW combat systems, and while EVE University does not particpate in Faction Warfare directly, [[Faction_warfare#Complexes|Faction Warfare mechanics]] still provide a great framework to learn the basics of small ship & small gang PVP without the combat restrictions of High Sec, and the expanded mechanics of Null Sec. While the majority of LSC activity is focused around teaching and experiencing PVP combat, LSC does have a variety of PVE opportunities available within our region of Low Sec. Our home system, Eugales, has direct access to Two ice belts nearby for easy mining. The region that LSC is hosted in, Placid, has access to valuable and rare [[Gas_cloud_harvesting#Mykoserocin_and_cytoserocin|gas clouds]] used in [[Reactions#Biochemical_Reactions|Reactions]] to create combat booster drugs. If you prefer Missioning and Ratting, LSC has easy access to nearby Mission Agents, as well as LS exclusive L5 missions. Ratting and Clone Soldier farming is a great way to learn how to deal with high level PVE combat in an accessible region.
