Starting skills

Every new character in EVE starts with the same 11 skills, two of which are race-specific: Frigate and Gunnery skills are based upon your racial choice. You start out with 55,824 skill points no matter what race you choose to play.
Attributes are also standardized across the races; they are all set at 20 (with Charisma at 19).
Here are the skills all characters start with:
- Mechanics II
- CPU Management III
- Power Grid Management III
- Gunnery II
- Navigation III
- Mining II
- Astrometrics I
- Science III
- Spaceship Command III
Additionally, each new character starts with a racial frigate and gunnery skill:
Amarr
Caldari
Gallente
Minmatar
Completing the tutorials will reward you with additional skill books.
