The Ploy: Gallente Path is a guide to completing The Ploy for those who have high Gallente Faction Standing.
You can follow the Gallente Path only if you have enough Unmodified Standing:

EVE Online displays only Effective Faction Standings. To help you calculate the Unmodified Faction Standings use Chris Halsky's Sheet to calculate the required Standings from Effective Faction Standings.
Step 0: Deviating from the Path
You can skip Step 1: Career Agents and proceed to Step 2: First and second Epic Arc if you have the required Unmodified Standings:

You can skip Step 3: Re-balance Standings and proceed to Step 2: Third, forth and fifth Epic Arc if you have the required Unmodified Standings:

Step 1: Career Agents
Complete any two out of three Career Agent Mission chains for each Empire in the following order:
- Caldari
- Amarr
- Caldari
- Amarr
- Gallente
- Minmatar
- Gallente
- Minmatar
Do this to keep both Caldari and Amarr Faction Standing high while at the same time reaching 5.0 Faction Standing with both Gallente and Minmatar so you can start their Epic Arcs.
Step 2: First and second Epic Arc
Proceed if you have the required Unmodified Standings:

Complete the Epic Arcs in the following order:
- Gallente
- Minmatar
Step 3: Re-balance Standings
This is the tedious step. Right now storyline missions give very small net standings gains, they only shift them around. What you need to achieve are (minimum) the following standings:
Gallente - 3.81
Minmatar - 3.81
Caldari - 3.00
Amarr - 2.30
To get to that point, you need to run 7 Storyline missions with 1% reward - faster storylines to farm come from L2 Distro missions. Simply run L2 distro missions for Major and Minor enemy factions, either swapping them every couple of missions, or start with Major enemy and run it until Chosen faction drops to 3.96. If you choose corps required for Step 6 - it will shorten whole process
Another option are L3 Security missions - there is one missions chain ([New Frontiers]) and one Storyline mission chain ([Kidnappers Strike]) with very good standings rewards.
With this step Gallente and Minmatar are complete - you should have effective standings for both above 5.0.
- Step 3: Re-balance Standings - You can replace Storyline missions with Career agents, COSMOS or Datacenters - important thing is to achieve desired standings at the end of this step.
Step 4: Third, forth and fifth Epic Arc
Complete the Epic Arcs in the following order:
- Caldari
- Amarr
- Sister of EVE
Avoid destroying Gallente ships in the Caldari Epic Arc to reduce the amount of Gallente Faction Standing loss.
