Specialized transports are similar to bulk transports in terms of tank and agility but have an extra, specialized, very large, hold that can carry only one type of item (such as ammunition or minerals). Those specialized holds cannot be expanded by fittings - but on the flipside, they are also not diminished by fittings which decrease cargohold size such as Transverse Bulkheads, Reinforced Bulkheads, or Overdrives. The fitting of specialized haulers is different compared to other haulers, mainly because the specialized holds cannot be made bigger by Expanded Cargohold modules or Cargohold Optimization rigs. But on the flipside, these holds also do not shrink from fitting Transverse Bulkhead rigs, Reinforced Bulkhead or Overdrive modules, which decrease normal cargohold capacity.
