We have several research outposts in various w-space systems. It's common, one of those things that nobody discusses but everybody knows about anyway. A while ago, they recovered bits of ancient technology which seemed to have unusual properties.. We thought for a while it might be some sort of Sleeper computer core, but now it appears to be Talocan in origin. Another of our laboratories has more pieces, and they're suggesting it's actually the core of a station's life-support system, with multiple redundant modules that can back each other up and be easily replaced if they fail. They're setting up to test their theory right now at <Station>. I need you to take our samples over so they can complete the network they've pieced together. |
Note: Unlike most multi level couriers missions this mission has different mission briefings for the different levels.
At level 1 and 3:

Capsuleers aren't the only people to explore the systems accessible via wormholes. Every corporation wants to be the first to make the Next Big Discovery, and then market the developments from researching it. Most corporations will categorically deny that this is what they're doing, creating an atmosphere of both paranoia and plausible deniability if their explorations turn up nothing of value. |
