Mission briefing
It's the sound of war! It's been too long since the blaring of military marches has been heard, the stockpiling of weapons undertaken, the murderous idealism of a young generation inveigled. And to me it all seems like the clinking of ISK. War is one of the biggest boons to business you could hope for. It's a hungry giant that will eat anything you can throw at it. And the thing is, if you don't feed it, it will just eat you…. But if you feed it well? Oh, the rewards. Public recognition, sure, but the contracts, the contracts, Chris Halsky! That's where the real ISK is. And we're going to get those contracts. Oh, yes. But first we need minerals. Right now, it seems the giant on our doorstep wants Oeryl, and we're going to give it to him. There's a deposit out at Akonoinen. Bring back all 5,600 units of the stuff and I'll make sure you get your share of the reward.

Though skirmishes have broken out here and there, the distractions of the ever-expanding "lawless" space and the efforts of organizations such as CONCORD have helped maintain an uneasy peace. But no peace lasts forever.
