Mission briefing
Damnation, they're sending them out younger and younger. Are you sure you're old enough to fly a starship? Oh, well, we have to play the hand we're dealt, and if you're the best I can get, I suppose you'll do.

We'll start simple, youngster. Banidine is normally all but worthless, so real miners don't usually bother with the stuff. Still, I've found a buyer who's willing to take whatever we can mine. So, get me 20,000 units of Banidine and I'll make it worth your while. It should be easy, even for a pup like you, but it will show me that you're serious.

There's an asteroid field near here that's lousy with the stuff – I've bookmarked it for you. Get back as soon as you can and I'll arrange a little bonus.

As in all mining operations belt rats may randomly spawn.
