Mission briefing
I hope I can trust you to be discreet, <Pilot>.

As part of a goodwill gesture to the Nefantar tribe, the Republic has offered allotments of planetary territory within our space on which to build embassies or summer homes or whatever else they need land for. I don't care what it is, I don't trust ‘em, but the government is determined to make sure we all get along.

Yesterday I got an alert from one of my colleagues; it seems one Nefantar house is in collusion with elements from the Empire. Obviously we can't just point fingers without evidence, but I'm in a perfect position to obtain that. The contractor they hired to design and build a house on their new property is a friend of mine. He's given us one shipment of interior facing materials to seed with nanite spyware. Take the load to the depot at <station>; I know I can trust you to keep quiet about the additions to the cargo.

Strained Relations
The day Drupar Maak struck down Arkon Ardishapur on Starkman Prime with the Heir's own sceptre began the darkest night for his people. In retribution for the death of his father and their attempted rebellion, Idonis Ardishapur ordered the annihilation of the Starkmanir tribe.

At the same time, the Nefantar tribe approached the Empire with an offer, making a bargain for mercy in exchange for assisting in the subjugation of the Minmatar. The tribe took on many aspects of the Empire, including open practise of their faith and owning Minmatar slaves, themselves. Despite the recent revelation that their conversion helped to protect the last Starkmanir to survive the purge, many within the Republic are hesitant to forgive the Nefantar for their actions.
