Mission briefing
Something terrible has happened. An asteroid has collided with a research station at <System>. There's no official death-toll yet, but it's expected to climb into the tens of thousands. Some of our brightest were there, working out the very technologies that would enable us to better defend our way of life from Gallente and Minmatar agressors. Now they're all gone....

I'm sorry. I lost myself there. We've determined that the asteroid that collided with the station was composed of Augumene, a rare and extremely toxic ore. We need someone to mine out the Augumene safely from a starship.

More than that, others may be coming for the Augumene. We can't recover all the sensitive material from the wreckage of the station in time, and a blockade would tip our hand. The only solution is to mine out the Augumene ourselves. We want you to go out and retrieve all 3,600 units of Augumene from the site. And hurry. If we don't get that ore, looters might follow its signal and stumble on what's left of our base.

Lore Blurb: Research Stations
Space stations are ideal research locations for most governments. Station crews can perform dangerous experiments that could endanger the civilians near a terrestrial base. Another advantage to the isolation of these stations is that they are harder for enemy factions to find, making espionage or outright destruction more difficult... usually.

As in all mining operations belt rats may randomly spawn.
