There's any number of memorial sites from the Great War between us and the Caldari littered around our space. We've always honored the wishes of honest Caldari pilgrims wanting to visit these memorials; we even let them keep a small number of maintenance staff around on the bigger sites.

It seems our trust in them was misplaced, however. I've recently received reports of their using their memorials, of all places, as staging grounds for production facilities inside our own space. Those profit-minded slime are seeking to benefit financially from these facilities, all without paying taxes… in fact, without any oversight whatsoever.

We've asked them to withdraw all staff and take down their marketing facilities, but they're acting outraged that we'd even suggest it. Obviously it's a sensitive issue, but even the President has been vocal about the Caldari exploiting such sensitivity over the past war for commercial profit.

Problem is, our requests are nothing but posturing without an independent like you to back them up: We can't send in any official forces to remove them. A capsuleer like yourself, though… that gives us some plausible deniability.

Can we trust you with this matter, Hirmuolio Pine?
