Augumene Allergen is a level 1 mining division agent 5 part mission chain consisting of 1 mining, 1 courier and 3 encounter missions. It involves combat with the Amarr Empire and possibly with belt rats in the mining mission..
The whole chain (all 5 missions) is easily doable in a venture with two drones.

Type | Mining |
Objective | Acquire these goods: 333 x units of Augumene (99.9 m3) |
Faction | Region specific belt rats |

Mission briefing |

Well, I need someone who can handle a ship, but who also knows how to rip ore. If you can do that, then we might be able to come to an agreement.
You've heard of Augumene ore before? It's not too common because it's too costly to refine safely. Thing is, though, a team of scientists working for Core Complexion Inc. think they've figured out a way to do it cheaply. We need someone to procure some of the ore, though, so they can run some tests. Interested? |
Lore blurb: About Augumene |
---|
Augumene is an extremely toxic ore; fortunately, it is also extremely rare. It can be mined safely from a starship, but proves very deadly when handled directly unless one takes extremely expensive safety precautions — which more than negates any profit to be made from reprocessing the stuff. For this reason, even black market operators generally won't deal in it, and it is never found for sale on the open market. |
As in all mining operations belt rats may randomly spawn.

Part 2
Level | 1 |
Type | Courier |
Objective | Pickup and deliver 1x Encrypted Data Crystals (1 m3) |
Mission briefing |
---|
Oh, it's nothing complicated or difficult, frankly. But it's not something I'd trust to a common courier service or even an encrypted FTL transmission.
Can you go pick up the formula our scientists have been working on and bring it back to me here? They've stored a copy in some encrypted data crystals. I need to have my personal team review the process before I can let the experiment go ahead. |
Part 3
Level | 1 |
Type | Encounter |
Objective | Rescue the surviving scientists from the quarantine station. 4 x Scientist (4 m3) |
Mission briefing |
---|
Listen, things were going fine. Just fine. My team had approved the procedure and tested the results. But here's the thing. None of the science team was of Matari heritage. They were all Caldari or mixed-blood. So what we didn't realize until way too late is that the Augumene ore reprocessed using this new formula, for god knows what reason, produces a severe and deadly allergic reaction in most people of the Matari racial type.
<Pilot>, almost the entire population of that reprocessing lab was Matari. There are only a handful of survivors. It's a disaster, a huge disaster. First thing, we need to evacuate the surviving scientists from the quarantine station next to their lab. That's your first job. Come back when that's done, and we'll have more to do, I imagine. |
Open the station as cargo to get the scientists.

Part 4
Mission briefing |

The damned Amarr, that's what! What else?! God, I need a break.
Alright, it seems the Amarrians somehow caught wind of our, er, difficulties here, and they're eager as all hell to get their hands on the Augumene reprocessing formula. I mean, what better than a biological weapon for use against the Minmatar that was developed by the Minmatar and their allies, right? Anyway, they may already have a team in that lab. I need you to head right back out there and destroy that lab before they get their hands on the formula. If you manage to blow up some Amarrian marines while you're at it, so much the better. And if they offer up any resistance, don't hesitate to take them out. We can cover up the destruction of a few ships, but we simply cannot afford to let them get the formula. Understand? |

Part 5
Mission briefing |
---|
Well, I gave you the blueprint we'd been working on for the antidote after your last mission. In theory, we don't need to worry about the reprocessed Augumene being produced anymore, but just in case, we want to have the antidote on hand in case the Amarr somehow did get a copy, despite your efforts. Or, for that matter, if their scientists were to rediscover the process on their own.
However, to make the antidote, we need a DNA sample from a Matari subject who was affected by the reprocessed Augumene — which means I need you to head back out to the lab site and sift through the debris out there. Once you have the DNA sample, find a station where you can manufacture the antidote, then bring the finished product back to me. |
Mission Completion |
---|
To finish this mission, you first need to acquire the Minmatar DNA from the laboratory site (where you destroyed the lab in your last mission). Once you have the DNA, use it and the blueprint you received at the end of your last mission to manufacture the Modified Augumene Antidote. With the antidote in your hangar, talk to your agent again to complete the mission. |
After you have acquired the Minmatar DNA dock at a station with manufacturing facilities and produce the Modified Augumene Antidote for your agent.
Minmatar DNA will have to be in your Item Hangar to use the blueprint.
