The AIR Career Program rewards players for reaching certain goals. The rewards for a single goal are a small amount of ISK and career points (CP) but sometimes also items. The goals are grouped into four categories which each have ten sub-categories. Reaching all goals in one category gives a total of a thousand CP. When you reach three-quarter completion of a category, i.e. 750 CP, you graduate for that category and receive 100k skill points (SP) plus SKINs. Furthermore, you gain SP based upon your total CP. You can gain a total of 750k SP per character through the AIR Career Program.
While you will reach most goals through your normal activities as a new player, you probably have to strive beyond those to obtain all the available SP. Thus the system encourages you to try out activities which you otherwise would not have tried.
Rewards
There are rewards for completing particular goals, but also for graduating from a career by completing 75% of its goals, and for reaching certain milestones in the overall program.
Career Points
Each goal provides an amount of Career Points, which are used as the measurement of progression in each Career and the AIR Career Program overall. There are 4,000 CP to collect, 1,000 in each career.
Skill Points
4x 100,000 Skill Points for graduating from each Career
50,000 Skill Points for reaching 750 Career Points overall
75,000 Skill Points for reaching 1,500 Career Points overall
100,000 Skill Points for reaching 2,250 Career Points overall
125,000 Skill Point for reaching 3,000 Career Points overall
Total: 750,000 Skill Points
SKINs
for graduating from a Career
ISK
for each goal reached. Amounts vary between 12k and 125k per goal.
Additional rewards include
free Expert Systems for each Career
Expert Systems are handed out for finishing a career agent with skills corresponding to that agent. These Expert Systems expire after three days from redeeming.
Boosters
for completing some of the Goals
Various ships, modules, and skills
are all useful in a specific Career choice. Some of the rewards are intentionally associated with a different empire than the character who claims them is.
All rewards from the AIR Career Program are provided through the Redeeming window and are an addition to the standard rewards such as bounties, loot, LP, etc.
Crate contents
The contents of the crates varies depending on the faction of the character which opens the crate.
Each goal has a section in which Aura provides tips and guidance in the form of links to fittings, modules, skills, specific locations, and pointers to relevant UI windows.
Goals
The goals which are categorized in four careers split into ten activities, each with three to tengoals, for a total of 188 goals. Each goal reached will give a reward.
A goal can be tracked which will display its progress in the Info Panel outside of the AIR Career Program window, but tracking isn't required to complete goals since they progress passively during normal gameplay.
All capsuleers start the program from the beginning. An older character's activities before the program's introduction do not count.
Each career category contains an activity to do the corresponding career agent missions. Aura's assistance redirects you to the agency section for career agents which will direct you to the career agents corresponding to your school i.e. starting corporation.
Since you can complete Career missions only once, if the designated agent does not have any jobs for you, please set destination to another agent to complete the mission.
Many of the goals are related. For example, if you finish the combat sites goal for the enforcer, you automatically finish the combat sites goal for the explorer. Some rewards help you with other goals: the refining activity provides you with BPCs which you can then use for the manufacturing activity.
If you want to work through the goals, it's a good idea to start with the career agents and the do the SoE epic arc as you already cover about one-third of the possible CP.
