| == Chat Channels ==
| | EVE University maintains a number of in-game chat channels which are listed below. Members are reminded that they should not create new chat channels ending in (EVE Uni), under the [[EVE University Rules]]. | == University Public ==
| | [[Category:EVE University Services]] |
| University Public is our public channel. It is used for recruiting, general help, and staying in contact with old members
| |
| | |
| === The Rules ===
| |
| For the majority of people these should be quite clear and won't be a problem, but some people do occasional need things spelling out for them. In order of importance:
| |
| | |
| # You are to respect everyone in the channel, and discussion is to be kept civil. If you have problem with someone there, take it somewhere else.
| |
| # Scamming in all channels are prohibited. There are no exceptions to this.
| |
| # Profanity is never allowed. Use alternate words, or don't swear.
| |
| # Topics must be kept clean, and channel content is to be kept PG-13.
| |
| # Nobody but Eve University is to recruit there. There is a specific forum for recruiting from E-UNI.
| |
| | |
| === Repercussions ===
| |
| These are the typical actions, in order, which will be taken against any offenders. In extreme cases, and those where it is clear the offender was aware of their infraction, they may find themselves immediately and permanently banned, for example ISK spammers and scammers.
| |
| | |
| # A verbal warning in the relevant channel
| |
| # A 30 minute mute
| |
| # A 24 hour ban
| |
| # A permanent ban on all official E-UNI communication mediums, including channels and forums.
| |
| | |
| === Appealing ===
| |
| If you feel you have been banned or otherwise moderated unfairly, please convo a director in-game.
| |
| | |
| == EU Minmatar Space ==
| |
| This channel is a Eve University channel so all public rules related to this channel as well.
| |
| | |
| The two exception are that Thukk U uses this channel to make the Minmatar-Amarr factional warfare more transparent and that light recruiting from Eve University alumni to their individual corporations is tolerated.
| |
| | |
| The Eve University Minmatar Space channel operators are:
| |
| * Patric
| |
| * Frank Pabodie
| |
| * Laps3d Pacifist
| |
| * Damien Anders
| |
| * Garr Anders
