Very rarely, someone who has contributed a significant amount to EVE University - normally as a Director or long-standing manager - will be given Long Term Inactive (LTI) status, meaning they will not be removed for inactivity. However, this is something that is gifted rather than requested.


If a member needs to take a break from the game for any reason, they are welcome to drop from EVE University of their own accord if they wish to. Being removed for inactivity will not affect a member's ability to apply to rejoin EVE University later on, and if they apply to rejoin within 30 days of being removed they will qualify for [[Returning_to_EVE_University#Fast_track_re-entrance|fast track re-entrance]].
