E-UNI Emblem.png This page is specific to EVE University. Other corporations or groups in the game may operate differently.
For a summary of EVE University's rules and code of conduct, see EVE University Rules.

All members of EVE University are free to participate in the Community Content Initiative previously known as Cross Campus Initiative, also known as CCI program. This also includes staff (All staff are encouraged to give this a go!). The CCI is currently under the Student Administration Department and is administered by Croixant

Why Should I Participate?

EVE University prides itself on covering a diverse array of activities within New Eden. To provide our pilots with the best 'all around' experience, a set of communities were put in place. This helps educate unistas learn the different playstyles and tactics used within each area of space.

These communities are:

the Main Community which includes the HQ (Stacmon) and surrounding areas, and our Low and Null Sec hubs,

the Wormhole Community,

and the EVE University Incursion Community.

Regardless of which part of space you see your home as being, there is always something new to learn and there is always value in knowing more about those other areas that you as a pilot don't often frequent.

We are all proud Unistas and we should work together regardless of community affiliation and help out our fellow bros. This is your chance to get out there and help others while at the same time filling the gaps in your own knowledge.

What The Initiative Can Offer

  • Like all content this Initiative will assist towards the goals of obtaining Titles
  • A well rounded education on all areas of New Eden
  • Meet new people!
  • Make new friends!
  • The ultimate reward: a unique EVE University Medal! The EVE University Campus Cross after finishing the CCI.

Requirements

We expect to see the following:

  • Participation in at least 5 content generation activities per community or area of space i.e., Highsec or Lowsec areas.
  • The 5 activities should be spread over more than 1 week per community. No more than one (1) activity per day will count.
  • At least 4 different communities or areas of space visited for a combined total of 20 activities.
  • Coordinate 8 or more content generation activities among at least 4 different communities.
  • We require you to document every participation by a forum post or by an AAR (for PVP).
  • All of the activities must be completed within a year; if you require additional time, contact the CCI Manager.
  • To reiterate, content generation and participation are the keys. You may organize the activities and you also will have to participate in those activities.

Please note that for activities to be valid these need to be planned ahead and posted in the calendar otherwise these activities will not count toward CCI Program progress.

In addition, planned activities that are based out of our new Headquarters in Stacmon will be assigned to the program based on what area of space the activity takes place. For example, if a participant that lives at Headquarters (Stacmon) plans and executes content in Lowsec space, then that content will count as a Lowsec activity for the program.

Planned content within Pochven will count as Wormhole Community activities.

To document your CCI Program participation post a summary of your activities as a new thread in the CCI forum

These content generation activities can include but are not limited to:

  • Joining/FC'ing PvP fleets, mission fleets, or mining ops
  • Teaching classes around each different community
  • Organising events (if these are uni-wide events it is even better!)
  • Note that defense of our home structures and any offensive fleets against war targets HQ (with Director approval) can be counted as activities towards the Medal

The communities and areas of space, along with some examples of content that can be carried out there, are shown below. Some communities have requirements before you can join them so make sure you look them up on the wiki. If you don't meet the requirements at the start you might meet them while doing the other ones.

If you decide to plan and organize an event, please make sure to follow each of the communities' rules regarding the making of an event. Use the Community Contacts for each of the communities to get more information and guidance.

Medalists

Main article: CCI Medalists

Since the start of the Community Content Initiative, twenty-three people have completed the CCI, and have been awarded the EVE University Campus Cross. Their dedication to this program is recognized in the Community Content Initiative Medalists page.

Special Thanks

The CCI was an idea of White 0rchid when he was a uni member. He left corp before we could actually put this into practice and work out all the details. The general lines are still there but Rose Chanlin and Croixant have worked the concept further out to what it is today.
