| biography = Like many in Eve I started out in Eve Uni doing missions and mining in High-Sec trying to make a little isk and figure out how it all worked. After a few months I decided to try one of Uni's frigate PvP fleets and I was hooked; the skills and knowledge involved, the excitement of an engagement; not much else compared in my eyes. I decided to join the wild folks at Eve Uni's Wormhole Campus and stayed there for about 1.5 years and loved every minute of it hunting for content, scanning down a fresh chain, getting in small gang and medium sized fights, huffing gas / mining ice, learning about planetary interaction, doing WH PvE, and making new friends.
+
+
When WWB2 kicked off in the south myself and a few others decided to join Brave for the experience of these large fleet battles we had heard so much about and see what Null-Sec life had to offer. Two years later and I still have characters in Brave and have gotten to experience so many things I hadn't been exposed to previously regarding Null-sec mechanics but still found myself referring people to Eve Uni who didn't necessarily want the Null Sec lifestyle or being involved in these large conflicts. So, I decided to join the Uni and say hello to some old friends, make some new ones, and give back what I can from my experiences.
+
+
Like most people in Eve my path and interests have been more zig-zag than linear and in the 4 years of playing I've done quite a bit of what the game has to offer: mining ore, mining ice, huffing gas, missions, incursions, abyssal deadspace, exploration, industry and research, hauling in t1 industrials to jump freighters, planetary interaction, PvP in solo / small gang / and large fleet fights with thousands against thousands, faction warfare, and have lived in High-sec, Low-sec, Null-sec, Pochven, and Wormhole space. I certainly won't claim to know everything about anything (honestly be cautious of those who do as even the Eve developers need help understanding things from the Council of Stellar Management), but anything I don't know I'm happy to research / use Uni resources and we can find out together. How and what I would be mentoring on depends entirely on the mentee and how they like to learn (massaging, voice comms, undocking and experiencing it together) and what areas of Eve you're interested in.

Biography

I dabble in just about any aspect of EVE anymore, short of things the Uni doesn't do.

Primarily, I'm an industrial player - I frequently do actual industry, along with Planetary Interaction, and mining. I also do exploration as a bit of a side activity, PvE on occasion, and have been getting more and more into the combat side of the game as of late.

In EVE Uni, in addition to being a Mentor, I am the Director of Education in EVE University, and a member of the EVE University Fleet Command team.

If your interests fall outside of an area I know - I probably know how to get you in touch with someone who knows better, or find some material to help us study and understand together. In short - if you're interested in it, ask me about it!

I've spent most of my EVE life in Null/Sov Null and Low-Sec. (read safety RED) I have always been an advocate of helping others. This was instilled into my EVE life from my very first CEO. I eventually became CEO of that corp and moved to Null. I hope to have found a new home here with the Unistas and help as many NewBros as I can along the way.

Off and on 16 year veteran of EVE, starting in mining and mission roots until EVE Uni. Became a teacher, led some fleets, and moved into wormholes about 10 seconds after they opened up. Started doing science, invention, and production. Left with EDROP to Fade/Pure Blind until real life commitments pulled me away.

Spent a few years in and out, training skills but not using them. When life settled, I would come back until it unsettled again.

Back for the last year living at WHC, running with harvester crews and building ships for market or use. Running full array of PI in the hole, making the best of my time until life pulls me away once more.

The main focus of my own goals is on Mission Running in Hi-Sec space, hunting escalations from combat anomalies, and printing isk from Abyssal Deadspace. I have my clones at The Quad in Stacmon, don't mind the trek to do shopping at the trade hubs, and am always looking for more people to fly fast towards content with.

Every day I log in is an opportunity to make new connections and learn more about this wonderful universe that we enjoy together. Maybe the content you're curious about isn't something I do often, but the greatest strength I have is being able to find answers and apply my own experience in Eve to help you understand it. The second best talent I have is being able to connect you with Uni communities that will get you undocked and having fun with other capsuleers. Fly fast towards the content you enjoy!

In my time of being in EVE online since 2008, I have seen and explored many things. Sov Null politics, small gang PVP, large fleets, PVE, Basic Mining, Intro to Industry but EVE Uni is where I learned the most.

I'm currently active in Low Sec, High Sec and Null as an experienced exploration solo pilot. I can provide healthy guidance on surviving and flourishing in most areas of known space (K-Space). From flying small ships, basic hauling to being sneaky in Wormholes, I can help navigate most areas with confidence using the right tools and ships.

Biography

My entire life in EVE has been within EVE University. My main character is primarily involved with the Wormhole Campus where I thoroughly enjoy the PVP content that is available therein. Not that PVP is all that wormholes offer. Harvesting fleets (combat anomalies) and gas huffing are our mainstay of isk generation with the workhorse of exploration to find us content.

Missioning is, however, where I started and I still enjoy going out and beating up on naughty pirates from time to time. I am currently using our continually varied connections at WHC to occasionally run missions to gain standings for as many different security agents as I can find.

About midway through 2021, I created a new alt character on my main account to join the EVE University Production team and am thoroughly entrenched in making all manner of ship hulls and modules for our FC team and community hubs.

Biography

I first played Eve when it was quite new, but later was persuaded to play World of Warcraft by friends. In 2012 I started playing again, created Hoyt en Welle and joined Eve University. By the time I graduated I'd spent time in the Low Sec, Null Sec, and Wormhole campuses as well as taking part in PVP fleets and gangs in the ongoing wars with Red and Blue in High Sec space around our home at that time. I took a break and when I restarted playing I joined The Graduates, and spent some time in Null space, ratting, mining and joining PVP fleets. However I missed Wormhole space, so I joined Wingspan and spent lot of time hunting newbros exploring and mining in Wormholes. I'd send them a delivery of missiles, and then, often have to help them get their pod out of the wormhole. After another break I joined Brave, possibly not at a great time as they were about to make a tactical retreat from their home. I was at the biggest battle of all time (at that time) in EVE. The TiDi was very real... When the turmoil with Brave became too much, I moved to Strategic Exploration and Development Corp, were I did a mix of mining, exploration and ratting. I made some progress with Industry and Production, and also Planetary Industry, though throughout I've probably done more station trading as means to make passive ISK. Since I rejoined Eve University, I've spent some time mining in fleets from Stacmon, joined small PVP fleets from Stacmon. Mostly though I've been Level 4 missioning around Amygnon after building standings.

Biography

I'm a long time EVE player, and one of my favorite things since day one was to help new players. Even before I joined the Uni, and within a few months of starting out, I co-created a corporation called Seventh Millenium with another player, and helped other players out for the time I was there. Eventually, the corporation died out, and it became my de-facto alt-holding corp.

It was during this time that I decided to join the University as a Teacher (back in 2010), and although I did teach, I must admit I learned significant more - despite being a two-year veteran of the game at the time. I ended up becoming a mentor back then. I wrote a lot of my history in my bio on the wiki, but in brief, I left in 2012, and returned in 2020.

Since then, I've taken the helm of the Mentor Program as Mentor Manager, and have greatly enjoyed my time back - particularly the PVP. I call myself an "Angry Industrialist" because I love mining in my Hulks and Orca - but just as happy to go on a shooting spree during the Uni's wars. I'm more than happy to help you become an "Angry Industrialist" as well - or simply being "Angry". :P

Biography

I joined EVE Uni in 2012 and dabbled in a bit of everything, including missions, mining and wormholes. But my main focus was corporation management, and I held various management and director roles and was CEO of EVE Uni for three years. After I stepped down in 2020 I moved to sov null and spent my time doing large fleet PVP in Pandemic Horde, Pandemic Legion and Brave Newbies, including the end part of WWB. Now I am back in the Uni I'm still focusing on fleet PVP, particularly NPSI fleets.

Biography

Over the last 15ish years EVE would get the status "It is complicated", because it was on-off most of the time, often depending on other games. But now since december 2021 I have been constantly playing. The character Louis Ricard was only created a few years ago, but is now my main character.

I enjoy many things in EVE Online also the relaxing asteroid mining some would deem as boring. But don't be fooled, it is very satisfying to team up with friends and fellow unistas to clear an asteroid field or a broken off moon or ice blocks... or or or ;-)

When I want my skin tingling, I jump into the abyss or go to the NSC-Campus and join one of the many PvP fleets.

Because EVE is quite boring solo, joining E Uni was a great thing to do, I update a lot of my knowledge and learned a lot of new things... and got to know funny and reliable people!

For now I am working on my CCI and joined the Mentors... and we will see where my way will lead me to.

Biography

Like many in Eve I started out in Eve Uni doing missions and mining in High-Sec trying to make a little isk and figure out how it all worked.

Biography

I started playing EVE in 2010, and have been off and on since then. I joined EVE Uni in September of 2022, but have been assisting new capsuleers since long before. My time before the UNI was sometimes in small WH corps and low-sec pvp gangs, but mostly as an independent flier hiring myself out for whatever roles were needed by others. Most of this time was spent in combat roles.

For a long time I made most of my ISK through exploration. I've dabbled in most solo aspects of the game, and flown in small gangs throughout highsec, lowsec, nullsec and wormhole space. Since joining the the uni I've tried to be helpful where possible, join fleets when I am available and familiarize with our various services and membership.

I'm a laid back player comfortable with any role of play, I enjoy teaching and helping people. I believe in a hands-on approach, and base out of Stacmon. Mentees can feel free to message me on Discord at any time, and I'm usually available for voice chat in my active hours as well. My specialties are exploration, missions and abyssal space; but I'm familiar with the basics on everything in-game except faction warfare and planetary industry. My English is fluent, but I can parse the basics in French if needed. Any other languages will need to be in text and a translator.

Started the first few months wondering HSC and LSC mining and getting blown up. 6 months later joined UNI in NSC and spent 15months sorting out the mess I had made of my training, I was a jack of all trades and sucked at them all. Under Uni teaching from people like Duke, Papaki, Mongo and irishcoffee (and others) I learnt how to prioritise my training to improve my ability in the fields I really enjoy, and not just running round in circles looking for anything to make a few isk. Now it is my turn to pass on this advice.

Biography

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WERE SPACE SHIPS AND BUTTONS AND IT WAS GOOD.

But I was bad.

I tried to fit ships and do things but it was all very hard and I spent a lot of time not doing much. Joined a handful of goofy corps that didn't really last, did a lot of AFK mining.

And then eventually, a miner-ganking corp changed my EVE life. I lost my beautiful mining barges, which I had spent so much time saving up for, and was furious. THEY WERE SO PRETTY.

I fumed about it until I figured out that the only real answer was to take up arms and join combat. I had been putting it off because there were skills you had to train before you could train your other skills (they removed those) but it was time. I started PVPing.

I war dec'd a few small high sec corps. I challenged everyone I could to duels (and lost all of them). Eventually I joined a lowsec pirate corp and started to learn how to play.

Fast forward through a few years in lowsec, learning to harvest tears and stalk haulers for the enormity of their gall. Eventually I set up a structure in a wormhole, and the grand river consumed me.

Now I drift, timeless and patient, watching the world float by from my dark little corner of space, waiting to reach out and grab some passing fun. See you in the dark spaces.

I just really enjoy wormhole space and the opportunities it presents. Have noticed that people who are new to various groups/communities will sometimes get terrible advice. I saw on Discord once someone asked a question about implants because they were recommended to get high-grade amulets because of how good they were and wanted to know if it was a waste of ISK. I'd like to reduce the chances of that sort of terrible advice actually happening when a new player just simply does not understand the consequences of some of the random advice that gets shouted around by random people.
