EVE University has volunteers who manufacture items for EVE University and its members. One of the item types members can order is a standard fit battlecruiser ships.
EVE University members can view the standard fittings under Corporation Fittings in-game. We supply the hull plus fittings (without alterations) and contract directly to the member in the supported location at 100% Jita sell.
As a bonus, every member is entitled to buy any one battlecruiser at 50% of Jita sell. This offer is limited to one battlecruiser per EVE University character. |

The item will be contracted to you at the requested location. This normally takes a few days, so please be patient.
Skills requirement
All ship fits were made to work well with minimum skill requirements:
- Short Skill Plan
- Pyramid Skill Plan Level 1 - Fitting
- Pyramid Skill Plan Level 2 - T2 Tank
- Myrmidon only - Drones IV, Drone Avionics III, Drone Navigation III, Drone Sharpshooting I to use all modules and Heavy Drones as soon as possible
- Faction Battlecruiser III - having lower skill means you won't get bonuses from your hull, which are important
With minimum skills these ships will have enough tank to be able to run Level 3 Security missions, and will fare reasonably well in Level 4 Security missions in fleets. Treat these as minimum skill required to fly these ships.

Drake, Caldari Battlecruiser. Very good PvE ship, capable of fitting great tank and decent DPS.
- With recommended skills, you will have 6m30s of cap life with everything running and 40 minutes without Afterburner
- Heavy missiles are your main weapon - they apply best to larger targets, use your drones against Frigates and Destroyers
- Active shield tank, with good resists. Do not leave your Shield Booster running all the time, use it when needed
- Extra levels in Caldari Battlecruiser skill will give you more resitances - significantly improving your tank
- You will have decent range, so use your Afterburner to keep enemies as far as possible - they will have harder time hitting you

Myrmidon, Gallente Battlecruiser. Another staple ship for PvE, able to get very good DPS with drones.
- With recommended skills you have 8m17s of cap life with everything running, and 30m without Afterburner.
- Drones are your main weapon - pick the size and type of drones to match your target size and resists
- Turrets are useful to 'grab aggro' - you want enemies to shoot you, not your drones. Start shooting enemies so they focus on you, then send your drones
- Due to bonus to Armor Repairer, your tank pretty good. Reactive Armor Hardener will also adjust to match incoming damage - keep it running
- You generally want to stay at long range, orbiting the battlefield - so enemies can't hit you well

Hurricane, Minmatar Battlecruiser. Versatile ship, fit with long range Artillery guns.
- With recommended skils your cap life is 5m38s with everything on, and 12m without Afterburner
- Artillery has long range - use that to your advantage
- You will have quite bad tracking though - use the fact that enemies approach you directly, with minimal transversal
- Armor tanked, with Reactive Armor Hardener - keep it running at all times, so it can adjust to incoming DPS
- You will have quite large Alpha, but low rate of fire. For smaller ships try to use drones instead.

Harbinger, Amarr Battlecruiser. Laser boat with capacitor issues, which captures Amarr spirit perfectly.
- You will have 6m45s of cap life with all modules on (and Multifreqency crystals), and 15m10s without Afterburner.
- Laser are your main weapon. Remember than you can switch Crystals instantly, so always pick the correct one for your engagement distance
- Good positioning is the key - being closer means more DPS, being farther away means less incoming DPS. Try to balance that.
- 2 flights of drones - light drones should be used against small targets, medium drones against anything bigger for extra punch
- Capacitor requires good management - stopping shooting weapons for few seconds will allow your cap to recharge faster
Upgrades
Since fits were designed for minimum skills, they have quite a lot potential to upgrade when your skills are better. While no direct upgrades will be provided, below you can find general guidelines:
- With good engineering skills you can remove one capacitor module (Capacitor Recharger, Capacitor Power Relay) and instead use application module or DPS module
- Better skills will also improve available PG/CPU - if you'll have a lot of free CPU/PG consider reviewing the fit for upgrades
- All fits use T1 Drones. Switching to Navy or T2 variant will give you more DPS, especially for Myrmidon
- For Drake - focus on your Missile skills, for Harbinger and Hurricane on Gunnery skills, for Myrmidon on Drone skills - these are your main weapons
- Wherever T1 modules is used, consider switching to Meta module or T2 module if possible
