Federation Grand Prix.png

The Federation Grand Prix is a recurring ingame event that challenges capsuleers to warp from point to point in the least amount of time. In 2021 it runs from March 11th to March 23rd.

Welcome to the Federation Grand Prix!
Get to know New Eden in a way you may never have done before!

Brave the New Eden cluster's more dangerous spaces to learn the secrets of New Eden's past. This Grand Prix will take you North as far as the borders of Pure Blind, far enough East to feel the stellar winds from the Great Wildlands, and far enough South to plunge into Querious, with wonderful and historical sights and monuments to visit along the race routes.

After you've finished the original three challenge circuits you will open up the "Extra Lap" challenges, which are timed and endlessly repeatable, to compete for your name on the Route Monuments that will be placed at the Grand Prix Start Line. All aspiring racers must finish the introductory route first before attempting any time trials. Race timers will be kept by external judges and results will be announced when the Federation Grand Prix has finished.

The Grand Prix waypoints include numerous lowsec systems and the fastest routes may include some nullsec systems. By participating in the Federation Grand Prix you release and forever discharge any and all damages incurred during the Federation Grand Prix.

Race Routes

The Federation Grand Prix is split into three routes: South, East, and North. Each route has low security systems, with the Northern route having a null security section when flying "Prefer Shorter" (unless you want to take a very long route through low sec Aridia). The tables below will use "Prefer Shorter", totalling 233 jumps.

Note that lowsec landmarks are often camped; exercise caution when traveling to lowsec landmarks.

Time Trials

After completing the routes once players can run them again to compete in time trials. Each of the three routes has its own leaderboard in the competition.

Capsuleers will be ranked by time for each route and awarded points based on that rank. The 10 capsuleers with the highest total points will be awarded Omega time and Federal Police SKINs. All other players who competed in the Extra Lap time trials will have their names memorialized on a monument.

It is possible to pass on the extra lap by letting the task time out. Doing this will move the player to the beginning of the next route. This allows targeting times on specific route.
