A special Event combat site, that, like the advanced Huntmaster sites, only spawns in Caldari Lowsec.
 +
 +
This site consists of a single room wth no further Acceleration Gates. A Guristas Capital ship, the Caiman, is present upon warp-in. Shortly thereafter, about a dozen additional ships spawn in, Worms, Gilas and Rattlesnakes. All of these are Diamond class ships, like those spawned from a FOB.
 +
 +
This site clearly requires a Capital ship to run it or at least a powerful fleet of sub-capitals.
 +
 +
No further information concerning additional spawns or even loot is available.

Additionally, the main part of a cans´ loot value is oftentimes taken up by the Overseer´s Personal Effects which can quickly bring an exploration ships´ cargohold to its limits.

Overall, the value of the individual cans in the warp-in area rarely exceeds 1 Million ISK and is often about half of that sum, and varies in the second room between 1 and 2 Mil ISK, tending towards the lower end.

The Hunt (2022).jpg

The Hunt is an in-game Easter event that runs from April 7th to April 19th. It is similar with last year, it keeps the egg hunt, the site NPCs, and the pod implant drops. However as of April 7 the pods drop expired keys.

Note that activating the gate will consume a key regardless whether you manage to jump or not. The gate can be activated multiple times consuming multiple keys and the gate does not stay unlocked.

Combat sites

Guristas Hunt Outpost

This is the combat site that appears throughout New Eden including Wormholes with the event.

It is pretty similar with last year's event, but with a new boss.

The site appears as a Combat anomaly in the Probe Scanner window. Once warp to the site is initiated the site will also appear as a Beacon in the overview, revealing to everyone in the system that someone has warped to it.

Only T1, T2, and Faction Frigates and Destroyers can enter the site.

The site consists of two deadspace pockets, both behind acceleration gates.

The first room has five waves of frigates, destroyers and occasional cruisers. Once all waves are dead, the acceleration gate to the last room becomes active. Sometimes the acceleration gate becomes active before the last wave.

Accessing the final room requires a Hunt Acceleration Gate Key. The gate does not stay open for other people for 10 seconds after activation like other locked gates do. So everyone who wants to enter the final room needs their own key.

The final room has a single Hunt Jackdaw, supported by a couple towers. This NPC and the other boss in room 1 drops the valuable loot.

The site can be completed in a destroyer tanked against kinetic/thermal damage.

But take care, most frigates warp disrupt/scramble, web and neut, as well as the Automated Drone and the Jackdaw. In the first room, there are NPCs that deal damage aside from kinetic and thermal. Hunt Griffin deals Explosive damage and ECM, Hunt Kestrel deals EM damages, Hunt Blackbird deals massive explosive damage and ECM, Hunt Caracal deals massive EM damage. Additionally it is said they the NPCs like to agress Drones, so using a Drone Boat might be suboptimal.

The 'Hunt' rats have rather poor loot tables so don't bother looting.

The rats are weakest against EM and thermal damage. Kinetic damage is almost as good but explosive damage is not very good against them.

Guristas Capital Forge

A special Event combat site, that, like the advanced Huntmaster sites, only spawns in Caldari Lowsec.

This site clearly requires a Capital ship to run it or at least a powerful fleet of sub-capitals.

No further information concerning additional spawns or even loot is available.

Data sites

These are the Data sites, Hunt Data Relay, that appear throughout New Eden with the event.

A special advanced version, Huntmaster Data Relay, appears solely in Caldari Lowsec and in the Nullsec region of Venal.

The site appears as a signature in the probe scanner window that must be scanned down before being warpable.

The standard event site is a Level III Data site called Hunt Data Relay and consists of an initial warp-in area with 4 cans of green difficulty and an Acceleration Gate which requires a Hunt YC124 Acceleration Gate Key to activate it. This Key will then be consumed.

Hacking all four cans in the first room will despawn the whole site from the Probe window.

The second room contains another 5 cans of yellow difficulty and slightly better loot than the warp-in area. Both rooms - warp-in and second room - count as individual Hunt Data Relay site in regards to The Agencies campaign task, so fully resolving a single Event Data site will net up to 30 Points on the reward line.

Advanced Huntmaster Data Relay sites follow the same structure as standard sites but are more difficult, especially the second room, whose cans are of red difficulty. All of the defensive are buffed with additional health: the core has 120 health, virus suppressor 70, restoration node 90 health. There are no penalties for failing the hack

These cans, however, contain significantly more loot than their standard Event site brothers. They drop up to 23rd Tier Overseer´s Personal effects and may contain Agency Boosters, hunt boosters, Hunter's Quiver skins, and among others.

Loot

Known loot drops for standard event Data sites are:

  • 5th-7th Tier Overseer´s Personal Effects, which can be sold to CONCORD NPC buy orders; the second room also drops 8th Tier Effects as well,
  • Fireworks (Ace of Podhunters variant),
  • Abyssal Filaments,
  • Various standard Data site industry stuff of little value, often related to the Guristas Pirate faction,
  • Rarely, volatile (time limited) Event Boosters (Hunt Boosters, Agency Doses)
  • Very rarely, Ship SKINS and Guristas Apparel (Hunters Quiver, Guristas, 'Fatal Elite')

Known loot drops for Huntmaster Data sites are:

  • 18th-23rd Tier Overseer´s Personal Effects, which can be sold to CONCORD NPC buy orders,
  • Fireworks (Ace of Podhunters variant),
  • Abyssal Filaments,
  • Various standard Data site industry stuff of little value, often related to the Guristas Pirate faction,
  • Volatile (time-limited) Event Boosters,
  • Ship SKINS and Guristas Apparel (Hunters Quiver, Guristas, 'Fatal Elite'),
  • C3-A 'Hivaa Saitsuo' Ballistic Control System,
  • C3-X 'Hivaa Saitsuo' Ballistic Control System

Additionally, the main part of a cans´ loot value is oftentimes taken up by the Overseer´s Personal Effects which can quickly bring an exploration ships´ cargohold to its limits.
