I should probably make a new page for the quick reference guide.
Tech I Ship Quick Reference Guide
All Tech I ships are different, but some have similar purposes.
Frigates
Each race has seven different Tech I frigates. This is the smallest type of ship aside from the shuttle. Each type of frigate is associated with a specialized class of Tech II ships.
Race | Noobship | Tackler | Miner | E-War | Missiles | Scanning | Combat |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Amarr | Impairor | Executioner | Tormentor | Crucifier | Inquisitor | Magnate | Punisher |
Caldari | Ibis | Condor | Bantam | Griffin | Kestrel | Heron | Merlin |
Gallente | Velator | Atron | Navitas | Maulus | Tristan | Imicus | Incursus |
Minmatar | Reaper | Slasher | Burst | Vigil | Breacher | Probe | Rifter |
Tech II | - | Interceptor | - | Electronic Attack Ships | Stealth Bombers | Covert Ops | Assault Ships |
The role of the mining frigates will change when the ORE Mining Frigate becomes available.
Destroyers
With the hitpoints of a frigate and the size of a cruiser, Destroyers are good for killing frigates or salvaging.
Race | Destroyer |
---|---|
Amarr | Coercer |
Caldari | Cormorant |
Gallente | Catalyst |
Minmatar | Thrasher |
Tech II | Interdictors |
A new destroyer for each race is scheduled to be released soon.
Cruisers
Cruisers are larger and slower than frigates, but smaller and faster than battlecruisers and battleships.
Race | Support | E-War | Cruiser II | Cruiser III |
---|---|---|---|---|
Amarr | Augoror | Arbitrator | Omen | Maller |
Caldari | Osprey | Blackbird | Caracal | Moa |
Gallente | Exequror | Celestis | Vexor | Thorax |
Minmatar | Scythe | Bellicose | Stabber | Rupture |
Tech II | Logistics | Recon | Heavy Assault Ships | Heavy Interdictors Heavy Assault Ships |
Battlecruisers
Battlecruisers use medium equipment, like cruisers, but are more versatile and powerful.
Race | Battlecruiser I | Battlecruiser II | Battlecruiser III |
---|---|---|---|
Amarr | Prophecy | Harbinger | Oracle |
Caldari | Ferox | Drake | Naga |
Gallente | Brutix | Myrmidon | Talos |
Minmatar | Cyclone | Hurricane | Tornado |
Tech II | Command Ships | - | - |
As the ships become larger, they become more and more diverse.
Battleships
Battleships are the largest combat ships (that aren't capital ships) in the game.
Race | Battleship I | Battleship II | Battleship III |
---|---|---|---|
Amarr | Armageddon | Apocalypse | Abaddon |
Caldari | Scorpion | Raven | Rokh |
Gallente | Dominix | Megathron | Hyperion |
Minmatar | Typhoon | Tempest | Maelstrom |
Tech II | Black Ops | Marauders | - |
Industrials
Industrials are used for transporting goods. They have large combat holds, but next to no combat ability. This table classifies ships based on their base capacity; this can be increased with cargo expanders and the relevant racial industrial skills.
Race | 3000 | 3001-4000 | 4001-5000 | 5001-5500 | 5501-6000 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Amarr | Sigil | Bestower | |||
Caldari | Badger | Badger II | |||
Gallente | Iteron | Iteron II | Iteron III | Iteron IV | Iteron V |
Minmatar | Wreathe | Hoarder | Mammoth | ||
Tech II | Blockade Runners | Deep Space Transports |
The table reflects only an approximation of the Tier II ship capacities.
Mining Barges
Mining barges are ships produced by ORE. They are the only ships capable of fitting certain pieces of mining gear. Tech II barges are called Exhumers.
Tech | Defense | Capacity | Mining Rate |
---|---|---|---|
Tech I | Procurer | Retriever | Covetor |
Tech II | Skiff | Mackinaw | Hulk |
Until recently, each ship was a straight upgrade from the previous one. This is no longer the case.
