RELATED UNI-WIKI REFERENCES

The Caracal is a powerful vessel that specializes in missile deployment. It has excellent shield defenses, but poor armor plating. Its missile arsenal, when fully stocked, is capable of making a piece-meal of almost anyone.

Summary

The Caracal is an excellent choice for a level 2 mission runner, mainly because level 2 missions still involve many enemy frigates, and the caracal can fit Assault Missile Launchers to do superb damage to them despite it being cruiser sized. The Caracal can support a strong passive shield tank, but can be active shield tanked according to taste. The Caracal is not popular in PvP because it does poor damage to ships its own size, but the caracal has roles as a t1 sniper cruiser, and as a powerful anti-frigate cruiser.
