Geared toward versatility and prolonged deployment in hostile environments, Marauders represent the cutting edge in today’s warship technology. While especially effective at support suppression and wreckage salvaging, they possess comparatively weak sensor strength and may find themselves at increased risk of sensor jamming. Nevertheless, these thick-skinned, hard-hitting monsters are the perfect ships to take on long trips behind enemy lines.

Developer: Duvolle Labs

Duvolle Labs manufactures sturdy ships with a good mix of offensive and defensive capabilities. Since the company is one of New Eden’s foremost manufacturers of particle blasters, its ships tend to favor turrets and thus have somewhat higher power output than normal.

Summary

The Kronos is the Gallente Marauder-class battleship. The Kronos is a behemoth of a ship that can roll over almost any challenger with easy due to its monsterous tank, mixed flight of heavy and medium drones, bonus to web effectiveness, and four double-damage blaster.

However, it does have a few glaring weaknesses. First, it's sensor strength is very weak - a dedicated (i.e. unharassed) ECM pilot can lock the Kronos down almost indefinitely. Second, it's scan resolution is very low - a single dampener can keep a Kronos out of the fight for a good deal of time whilst Marauder is trying to lock. Third, it's really, really slow. Thus, without support, a Kronos can be nickle-and-dimed while being pointed, jammed, and kited by smaller vessels.
