Command Destroyers represent a versatile addition to fleets of all sizes. Being the smallest and most agile platforms for gang link technology positions them as the premier support option for fast-moving wolf packs. Unique access to Micro Jump Field Generators also allows them to perform maneuvers that rapidly reposition other ships, be they friend or foe. SHIP BONUSES

Summary
The Bifrost is the Minmatar Command Destroyer. Following the Minmatar design principles, it has bonuses to shield and skirmish Command Bursts.
In its role providing shield bursts, the Bifrost competes with the Stork, which has more tank but less speed. This makes the Stork preferable if it can reach the required speed.
When it comes to skirmish bursts, the Bifrost competes with the Magus (and to lesser extent with the Draugur). If you have shield logistics support you normally choose the Bifrost, if armor logi the Magus. In fleets without logi, the Bifrost is often preferred over the Magus (and the Stork) because of its higher speed.
Skills
Further information about additional or recommended skills to pilot Bifröst for a specific or its common role(s) can be written here.
Tactics
Like all Command Destroyers, the Bifrost provides Command Bursts and can use a Micro Jump Field Generator. See the respective pages for the tactics involved.
Notes
The command destroyers were added in the December 2015 patch, sometimes called the Frostline patch.
In Norse mythology, Bifröst was the bridge connecting Asgard, the place of the gods, to Midgard, our Earth.
