Summary
The Hawk is an assault frigate specialised in missiles and rockets. It can be fit with standard launchers, but is more commonly rocket fit, where its velocity bonus to missiles allows it to fire rockets out to overheated web range. One of the hawk's distinguishing features is its 5 mid slots, a feature shared by only one other frigate (the Hookbill); this gives it a lot of flexibility for fitting shield tank modules and/or tackling modules.
