The Nighthawk is essentially a souped up Drake. It shares the Drake's tanking bonus, augmented by T2 resistances, to allow for an extremely impressive shield tank, especially when passive tanked. It also has several extra bonuses to improve its damage output over a drake, more than making up for its one fewer launcher slots.
