Development
The Executioner is another newly commissioned ship of the Amarr Imperial Navy. The Executioner was designed specially to counter the small, fast raider frigates of the Minmatar Republic; thus it is different from most Amarr ships in favoring speed over defenses. With the Executioner, the Amarrians have expanded their tactical capabilities on the battlefield.

  • A basic set-up, useful for running level 1 missions.
  • With low fitting skills you'll drain your cap in under 2 minutes running the armor repairer, but since the Executioner can hit 900m/s with the AB permanently running, you shouldn't need it too often.
  • With all skills at V and before fleet boosts, this ship has 3.2 K EHP, flies at 1153 m/s (1473 m/s with AB overheated) and align in 4.5 s (3.2 s with AB off). The capacitor will last for 2 min 42 s.
  • Damage is 73 dps at 3.4 + 2.3 km with Multifrequency crystals
  • Don't forget to bring a Tracking Speed Script to help with fast frigates and drones

  • Get inside scram range and kite your opponents out with scorch. The Executioner is an attack frigate rather than a combat frigate so your speed should be higher than everthing that isn't another attack frigate or nano/overdrive fit, allowing you to keep out of the other frig's range.


Tactics

With three mid slots and cap cost reduction on scrams, points and webs, and being the fastest of the Amarr frigates to begin with, the Executioner is a prime fast tackle for Amarr pilots. Be careful how you tank it, though: it can't match the armor tanking capabilities of the Tormentor or Punisher, so you're much safer fitting for speed than bulk.
